自然主义哲学背景下的桑塔耶纳美学思想

【摘要】：桑塔耶纳的自然主义哲学思想是认识其美学观的根源,已有的研究对此往往分析不足。桑塔耶纳哲学的提出虽有复杂渊源,但是较为直接的是受到当时自然科学发展的影响。他以整体观认识自然,重视实体,反对理念先行。这种哲学背景决定了他的美学理论也强调源自科学和经验的自然规律,特别是人的基本机能。例如在《美感》中他认为自然原则的自组织产生了美,这便是美的功用说,同时他对审美愉悦与生理愉悦、审美价值与道德价值等范畴进行辨析的过程中也为自然主义哲学做出了注脚。
[Abstract]:Santayena's naturalistic philosophy is the root of understanding his aesthetic view. Although Santaena's philosophy had complicated origins, it was influenced by the development of natural science at that time. He understood nature with the whole view, attached importance to the entity, and opposed the idea first. This philosophical background determines that his aesthetic theory also emphasizes the natural laws derived from science and experience, especially the basic functions of human beings. For example, in Aesthetic, he thinks that the self-organization of natural principles produces beauty, which is the function of beauty, and he is also interested in aesthetic pleasure and physiological pleasure. In the process of discriminating aesthetic value and moral value, it also makes an annotation for naturalistic philosophy.
