【摘要】：《博物志》作为西方艺术史早期的一部重要文献,记载了公元一世纪之前的西方古典世界的传统思想与艺术脉络,有所侧重地描述了古罗马人在艺术收藏与赞助领域的趣味与智性世界。其中,肖像作为古罗马文化中具有重要意义的艺术品,其表现形式、艺术风格与社会功能都带有古罗马世界深深的烙印。本文以梳理老普林尼的《博物志》为出发点,通过探寻古罗马肖像艺术所处的历史情境,阐析老普林尼笔下的肖像艺术传统与具有写实倾向的罗马式肖像艺术风格的形成与发展,从而试图还原历史的语境来理解肖像艺术在老普林尼时期以纪念性为主的社会政治功能。

Based on the natural history of the old Pliny < > comb as the starting point, through the exploration of the ancient Rome portrait art of the historical situation, analyzes the formation and development of old Pliny's portrait art tradition and has the realistic tendency Rome style portrait art style, in order to restore the historical context to understand the social and political function to commemorate the portrait art in the old Pliny period.
