英诗汉译的原则、策略及其他——诗人翻译家屠岸先生访谈录

【摘要】：此次访谈中,屠岸先生主要阐述了自己英诗汉译的原则、策略、目的及原作选择的标准等问题。先生始终信奉"信达雅"原则,但对其进行了新的阐释;他首次将诗学概念negative capability引入翻译领域,丰富了诗歌翻译理论;同时,他在英诗汉译过程中也深受classical restraint这一诗学原则的影响。他英诗汉译的主要策略为以顿代步,韵式依原诗;尽力保留原诗意象;努力传递原诗面貌。他英诗汉译的主要目的是实现文学文化交流、传递真善美精神。他在原作选择方面有严格的标准,一定要选文学史上优秀的、经典的、同时又能打动自己的作品。
[Abstract]:In this interview, Mr. Tu An mainly expounds the principles, strategies, purposes and criteria for the selection of his English poems. Mr. Tu An always believes in the principle of "faithfulness and elegance", but gives a new explanation to it. For the first time, he introduced the concept of negative capability into the field of translation, which enriched the theory of poetry translation. At the same time, he was deeply influenced by the poetics principle of classical restraint in the process of translating English poems into Chinese. Try to preserve the original poetic image; The main purpose of his translation of English poetry is to realize the communication of literature and culture and to convey the spirit of truth, goodness and beauty. He has strict standards in the selection of the original work, and must choose the best and classic in the history of literature. At the same time can move their own works.
