【摘要】：随着全球化的不断推进,国与国之间的联系变得更加紧密,文化交流也日益频繁,而作为促进文化交流的工具,翻译发挥着越来越重要的作用。由于经济的快速发展,目前应用类文本,如经济、科技、法律类文本在翻译市场广受欢迎,而与音乐、文学相关的人文类文本翻译则受到的关注较少。因此,本次翻译项目围绕人文类文本翻译展开。翻译材料选自马歇尔·布朗(Marshall Brown)《啮魂之齿》(The Tooth that Nibbles at the Soul)一书的第七章,布朗在文中详细描述了十八世纪中叶韩德尔音乐和英国文学的发展,加深了读者对这段时期英国文化和历史的了解。翻译报告运用的理论是德国翻译理论家莱思(Katharina Reiss)提出的文本类型理论。莱思的文本类型理论将文本划分为信息型、表达型、感召型及后来提出的视听型文本,不同的文本类型理论应该采用不同的翻译策略,通过分析,本项目的翻译材料被划分为"信息型"文本和"表达型"文本,并以"信息型"文本为主。"信息型"文本重在完整准确地表达原文信息,"表达型"文本则关注原文形式美学的传达。本报告从原文的特点出发,结合文本类型理论,对翻译中遇到的问题及其解决办法,分别从词汇和句子层面进行了分析和总结。在词汇层面,译者总结了术语、人名、文学作品题目和一些历史事件名称的翻译,以及一些需要进行词性转换的普通词汇的翻译;在句子层面,译者则主要分析了长句的翻译,主要涉及长句拆分和语序调整等翻译策略的使用。
[Abstract]:With the development of globalization, the relations between countries become closer and cultural exchanges become more and more frequent. As a tool to promote cultural exchange, translation plays a more and more important role. With the rapid development of economy, translation plays a more and more important role. At present, applied texts, such as economic, technological and legal texts, are popular in the translation market, while humanistic texts related to music and literature receive less attention. This translation project revolves around human text translation. The translation material is from the 7th chapter of the Tooth that Nibbles at the Soul. by Marshall Brown. Brown describes in detail the development of Handel music and English literature in the middle of 18th century. The theory used in translation report is the text type theory put forward by German translation theorist Katharina Reiss.Leth 's text type theory divides the text into information type and expressive type. Different translation strategies should be adopted in the audiovisual text and the audio-visual text. Through the analysis, the translation materials of this project are divided into "informational" text and "expressive" text. The "informative" text focuses on the complete and accurate expression of the original text, while the "expressive" text focuses on the transmission of the formal aesthetics of the original text. This report starts from the characteristics of the original text and combines the text type theory. The problems encountered in translation and their solutions are analyzed and summarized at the lexical and sentence levels. At the lexical level, the translator summarizes the translation of terms, names, titles of literary works and names of historical events. At the sentence level, the translator mainly analyzes the translation of long sentences, mainly involving the use of translation strategies such as long sentence splitting and word order adjustment.
