接受美学视角下儿童文学的文化翻译研究

【摘要】: 自从翻译的文化转向之后,许多学者都在这方面做了相关研究。与其它领域的文化翻译相比较,儿童文学中的文化翻译需要更多的关注。作为文学翻译的一个部分,儿童文学翻译常常被人们忽视。一提到儿童文学翻译,人们会轻易地认为译者用浅显易懂的词语、短句将原文的意思表达出来就可以了。实际上,儿童文学在题材、主题、故事结构等方面都有不同于成人文学的价值标准。本文总结了目前儿童文学英汉翻译中存在的问题,论证了儿童文学中文化翻译研究的必要性。 接受美学理论强调读者的地位,认为读者的接受对作品意义的实现起着决定性作用。将接受理论应用于儿童文学翻译,能够指导译者注重儿童读者的特殊性。本文结合接受美学理论的主要观点,揭示了其对儿童文学文化翻译的启示:译者应该谨记译作的读者是儿童;归化和异化都注重儿童的文化知识和接受能力,具体选择哪个策略要根据儿童的文化背景。在儿童可接受的范围内异化能保留原文的文化内容,以扩大儿童的视野,增长知识,适应全球化条件下交流的需要。 通过分析《夏洛的网》两个汉译本中文化翻译的译例,以期让译者了解读者为中心的翻译意识,以及如何照顾读者的期待视野,提供好的适合儿童的翻译。
[Abstract]:Since the cultural turn of translation, many scholars have done some research in this field. Compared with cultural translation in other fields, cultural translation in children's literature needs more attention. As a part of literary translation, cultural translation in children's literature needs more attention. Children's literature translation is often ignored. When it comes to children's literature translation, it is easy to think that the translator can express the meaning of the original with simple and easy words and short sentences. This paper summarizes the existing problems in English-Chinese translation of children's literature and demonstrates the necessity of cultural translation in children's literature. The theory of reception aesthetics emphasizes the position of the reader and holds that the acceptance of the reader plays a decisive role in the realization of the meaning of the work, and the reception theory is applied to the translation of children's literature. This paper, in combination with the main viewpoints of reception aesthetics, reveals the implications for the translation of children's literature and culture: the translator should bear in mind that the reader of the translation is a child; Both domestication and alienation pay attention to the children's cultural knowledge and receptivity, and choose which strategies should be selected according to the children's cultural background. Alienation can retain the cultural content of the original text within the range acceptable to the children, so as to expand the children's horizons and increase their knowledge. Adapt to the need of communication under the condition of globalization. By analyzing the examples of cultural translation in the two Chinese versions of "Charlotte's Web", the author hopes to make the translator understand the reader-centered translation consciousness and how to take care of the reader's horizon of expectation and provide a good child-friendly translation.
