[Abstract]:In the 80s of last century, the study of translation theory experienced second shifts, namely, cultural turn. This turn is that translation studies are no longer confined to two languages. People begin to pay attention to the political, social and historical aspects of translation activities. With the flourishing development of western feminism, feminist sex is the basic cut. The entry point extends the tentacles to the field of language culture, and leads to the birth of feminist translation.
Feminism was introduced to China in the 80s of last century, but it was not until 2000 that some scholars began to notice the influence of Feminism on translation. On the one hand, because China did not experience the real women's Liberation Movement in the west, the liberation of Chinese women was only a by-product of social change and an anti feudal ideology. On the other hand, "faithfulness" is ingrained in Chinese translation circles. Chinese female translators are not as active as western feminism to subvert tradition. For them, "faithfulness" is the first principle.
Eileen Chang is one of the famous women writers in the history of Chinese literature. She has translated Hemingway's "the old man and the sea >" and some of her own works (< gold lock and < resent > etc.). Although scholars have done a lot of research on her literary works, such as novels and essays from different angles, these studies rarely involve them. In fact, to some extent, Eileen Chang can be said to be a typical translator in the field of Chinese translation, because her translation not only involves interlingual translation but also intra - and self - translation. Therefore, the translation of Eileen Chang should be studied in depth. Eileen Chang's translation achievements have always been carried out. In comparison with Western feminist translation, her feminist translation is based on the female subject. Three translation strategies based on Flotow's feminist translation theory are preface and footnote, substitution and "hijacking". Eileen Chang's translation < gold lock >, < resentment. Women >, "the old man and the sea", and so on, the text is through these three translation strategies to achieve her "feminine consciousness" for the purpose of translation effect. This article tries to study the text of Zhang's self translation works, with the feminist translation theory (mainly the Gender and Translation of Flotow) as the basis of the translation theory. To illustrate the purpose of Zhang in his self translated works, she adopted female translation intervention to achieve her feminine consciousness, and expressed her efforts to pursue female subjectivity through repeated translation of the "resent" and "gold lock".
The first chapter of the text expounds the feminist translation theory, the feminist translation theory, the influence of Feminism on the feminist translation theory, and the essence of the theory of feminism with the help of deconstruction theory and the integration of the Western feminist theory to analyze the essence of the feminist translation theory.
The second chapter briefly introduces Zhang's feminist consciousness, the feminist idea, and the important factors to form her feminine consciousness. At the same time, it gives a brief account of Zhang's feminist translation thought, the emergence and expression of the feminine consciousness and her feminine consciousness in her works.
The third chapter analyzes and studies the text of Zhang's masterpiece, resent, and the golden lock. Through the analysis and study, it is found that the female consciousness of Zhang is all the same as the western female translators, and the same strategy is used. At the same time, Hemingway's translation model of "the old man and the sea >" and the other translations is carried out with the feminine consciousness of Zhang's feminine consciousness as the main body. The strategy of her feminist consciousness is to supplement, preface and hijack, and provide a large number of examples to prove it.
Finally, it points out the importance of the research and discusses the future research.
