“理论的过去表明理论具有未来”——“后理论”背景下的理论反思

【摘要】：自20世纪80年代末以来,有关"理论的终结"的论断越来越多,更有很多人认为当前已经处于所谓的"后理论时代"。曾经辉煌一时的理论现在被视为一场失败的学术冒险,偏离了文学研究应有的轨道,因此很多人呼吁终结理论,回归文学批评的传统模式。本文通过反思理论在四个方面的特性,即理论的跨学科性、理论的政治性及其与现行体制的关系、理论的效果问题、理论的学术化和公共职责等,以期为我们思索未来寻找启示。只有在兼顾社会文本的同时不忽视文学文本,在抽象思辨的同时不脱离具体实践和读者大众,理论才有可能间接地带来它希望产生的那些在文学阅读和社会生活方面的改变,而这也正是理论在将来能否更好地存在下去的关键。
[Abstract]:Since the end of 1980s, there have been more and more theories about the end of theory, and many people think that it is now in the so-called "post-theoretical era". The once brilliant theory is now regarded as a failed academic adventure and deviates from the track of literary research, so many people call for the end of the theory and return to the traditional mode of literary criticism. This paper reflects on the characteristics of the theory in four aspects, namely, the interdisciplinary nature of the theory, the political nature of the theory and its relationship with the existing system, the effect of the theory, the academic nature of the theory and the public duty, etc. With a view to thinking about the future for us to find enlightenment. Only when social texts are taken into account while literary texts are not ignored, and while abstract speculation is not divorced from concrete practice and readers, can theory indirectly bring about the changes in literary reading and social life that it wishes to produce. This is the key to the future existence of the theory.
