关联理论框架下《红楼梦》隐喻翻译的效度

【摘要】： 关联理论指出,任何话语都是有关联的,话语的理解过程就是寻找关联的过程;交际的成功与否取决于语码是否具有最大关联性。关联性取决于两个主要的因素:一是语境效果,二是推理努力。要达到最佳的交际效果,就要寻找最佳关联。翻译作为一种言语交际行为,是与大脑机制密切联系的推理过程,它不仅涉及语码,更重要的是根据动态的语境进行动态的推理,而推理所依据的就是关联性。在翻译中,成功有效的翻译应当是将原作者的交际意图明白无误地传达给目的语读者。要成功传递交际意图,就必须达到最佳关联,也即是将影响关联理论的两个关键因素,语境效果和推理努力,调试到最佳的程度。语境效果越好,读者所付出的推理努力越小,则关联性越高。赵彦春教授提出了将语码分为两个层次:一价译元和二价译元。通过对一价译元和二价译元的规约意义,短路会话隐含和会话隐含等概念的分析,他提出了达到翻译效度的最佳方法。本文试从译元的角度作图分析隐喻翻译效度的取得。由于隐喻是一种特殊的语言现象,涉及到语言、文化、社会、心理、宗教等方面,有丰富的内涵,隐喻的翻译效度也成为一个有价值的研究课题。本文试图在关联理论框架下,从译元分析的角度对《红楼梦》英文译本中隐喻翻译的效度进行考察,并结合语境效果和推理努力两个因素评价杨霍两译本中隐喻翻译的效果,以期能为隐喻翻译提出一些可供参考的观点。
[Abstract]:Relevance theory points out that any utterance is relevant, the process of comprehension is the process of finding relevance, and the success of communication depends on whether the code has the greatest relevance. Relevance depends on two main factors: contextual effects and reasoning efforts. In order to achieve the best communication effect, we must find the best relevance. Translation, as a verbal communicative act, is a reasoning process closely related to the brain mechanism. It involves not only the code, but also the dynamic reasoning according to the dynamic context, which is based on relevance. In translation, successful and effective translation should convey the original author's communicative intention to the target language reader. In order to transmit communicative intention successfully, the optimal relevance must be achieved, that is to say, the two key factors affecting relevance theory, contextual effect and reasoning efforts, are debugged to the best extent. The better the contextual effect is, the less inferential effort the reader pays, the higher the relevance. Professor Zhao Yanchun proposed to divide the code into two levels: one valence translation and two valence translation. Through the analysis of the Conceptual meanings of univalent and bivalent translaters, short circuit conversational implicature and conversational implicature, he puts forward the best method to achieve translation validity. This paper attempts to analyze the validity of metaphorical translation from the perspective of metaphorical translation. As metaphor is a special linguistic phenomenon, which involves language, culture, society, psychology, religion and so on, it has rich connotations, so the validity of metaphor translation has become a valuable research topic. Under the framework of relevance Theory, this paper attempts to examine the validity of metaphorical translation in the English version of A Dream of Red Mansions from the perspective of translation meta-analysis, and to evaluate the effect of metaphorical translation in Yang Huo's two versions by combining contextual effects and inferential efforts. The purpose of this paper is to provide some references for metaphorical translation.
