郭沫若英语诗歌汉译中的创造性叛逆

【摘要】: 在中国新文学史上,郭沫若享有“第一个可以称得起伟大的诗人”;“伟大的‘五四’启蒙时代的诗歌方面的代表者”;以及“新中国的预言诗人”等美誉。在诗的魄力和独创性上,他是卓然超群的。 而在辉煌的文学创作成果之外,郭沫若也是位翻译大家,翻译了很多国外名家名作。这些译作集中收录在《沫若译诗集》,《英诗译稿》和《鲁拜集》等译作集中。此外,在关于翻译理论及翻译标准问题上,郭沫若也有独到的见解,其翻译思想主要集中体现在《谈文学翻译工作》,《论文学的研究与介绍》和《讨论注释运动及其它》等文章中。在谈到文学翻译标准观时,郭沫若认为,译诗的手段除直译和意译外,还应当有种“风韵”译。这一突破常规翻译观的“风韵译”对传统中国翻译理论而言是一种创新。然而,由于种种原因,郭沫若的翻译成就还没有受到足够的重视,尤其是从文学翻译理论的角度对其所进行的科学客观的分析,更是远远不够。 19世纪70年代末兴起的译介学理论为郭沫若的翻译研究提供了有益的理论参考。译介学超越了传统的翻译研究范式,并引进了“创造性叛逆”这一概念,翻译研究不再集中于两种语言的转换规律和操作规范上,而是把翻译行为的结果(译作)作为既成事实加以接受,然后在此基础上展开考察和分析。 该论文以郭沫若的英语诗歌汉译为例,阐释了郭沫若的翻译思想,并分析探讨了其中蕴含的译介学创造性叛逆因素及特征。 论文开篇介绍了译介学及相关理论背景,并对郭沫若的诗歌翻译活动及观点进行了梳理,然后第四章从诗歌的形式入手,从音韵,节奏,诗行及诗节等方面分析了郭沫若诗歌汉译中的创造性叛逆;第五章从诗歌的内容,包括诗歌的语义,字面表达及深层含义等方面,分析了郭沫若诗歌汉译中的创造性叛逆及原因;第六章从诗歌的内涵角度,主要通过对意象的分析,及中西方相关意象的对比,分析了郭沫若诗歌汉译中的创造性叛逆及合理解释;第七章总结了郭沫若诗歌汉译中的创造性叛逆特征,该论文的局限性以及进一步研究的建议。 该论文借助于比较文学译介学理论,以郭沫若英语诗歌汉译作品为例,探析了郭沫若英语诗歌汉译的创造性叛逆,并剖析了其原因。通过分析郭沫若的翻译思想,作者希望能帮助读者进一步认识郭沫若的翻译成就,同时,也希望在将译介学原理用于实际翻译研究方面,作一初步的尝试。
[Abstract]:In the new history of Chinese literature, Guo Moruo enjoys the reputation of "the first poet who can be called a great poet", "the great representative of poetry in the May 4th Enlightenment era", and "the prophecy poet of New China". In terms of boldness and originality of poetry, he is superior to Zhuo Ran. In addition to the brilliant achievements of literary creation, Guo Moruo is also a translator, translating many famous foreign masterpieces. These translations are included in the translated Poems of Moruo, the Translation of English Poems and the works of Ruobai. In addition, on the issue of translation theory and translation standards, Guo Moruo also has unique views, and his translation thoughts are mainly reflected in the work of Literary Translation. In the study and introduction of Literature and the discussion of Annotation Movement and others. On the standard view of literary translation, Guo Moruo believes that in addition to literal translation and free translation, there should also be a kind of "charm" translation. This breakthrough in conventional translation is an innovation in traditional Chinese translation theory. However, due to various reasons, Guo Moruo's translation achievements have not been paid enough attention, especially the scientific and objective analysis of Guo Moruo from the perspective of literary translation theory is far from enough. The theory of translation introduction, which emerged in the late 1970 s, provides a useful theoretical reference for Guo Moruo's translation studies. Translatology transcends the traditional paradigm of translation studies and introduces the concept of "creative treason". Translation studies no longer focus on the transformation laws and operational norms of the two languages. Instead, the result of translation is accepted as a fait accompli, and then the investigation and analysis are carried out on this basis. Taking Guo Moruo's translation of English poetry into Chinese as an example, this paper explains Guo Moruo's translation thought and analyzes and discusses the creative rebellious factors and characteristics of translation introduction. At the beginning of the thesis, this paper introduces the translation introduction and related theoretical background, and combs Guo Moruo's poetry translation activities and viewpoints. Then the fourth chapter starts with the form of poetry, from phonology and rhythm. This paper analyzes the creative treason in the translation of Guo Moruo's poems into Chinese from the aspects of poetry lines and festivals. The fifth chapter analyzes the creative treason and its causes in the Chinese translation of Guo Moruo's poetry from the aspects of the content of poetry, including the semantics, literal expression and deep meaning of poetry. The sixth chapter analyzes the creative treason and reasonable explanation in the translation of Guo Moruo's poetry from the point of view of the connotation of poetry, mainly through the analysis of images and the comparison of relevant images between China and the West. The seventh chapter summarizes the characteristics of creative treason in the translation of Guo Moruo's poetry into Chinese, the limitations of this paper and suggestions for further study. With the help of the theory of comparative literature translation and introduction, taking Guo Moruo's Chinese translation of English poetry as an example, this paper probes into the creative treason of Guo Moruo's Chinese translation of English poetry, and analyzes its causes. By analyzing Guo Moruo's translation thought, the author hopes to help readers to further understand Guo Moruo's translation achievements, and at the same time, he also hopes to make a preliminary attempt to apply the principle of translation introduction to practical translation studies.
