小说《围城》英译本的衔接与连贯研究

　　语篇衔接与连贯既是语篇形成的基本标准,也是语篇研究的核心。衔接实现了语言表层形式与陈述两者之间的关系,而连贯则是指交际行为之间的总体效应。韩礼德和哈桑(1976)提出的衔接理论注重句法层面,而我国语言学家胡壮麟(1994)和张德禄(2003)对衔接理论做了进一步的补充,形成多层次的语篇衔接与连贯模式。《围城》一直被认为是中国现代文学的典范。小说语言规范、典型,代表了现代汉语的主流。本论文以《围城》英译本(珍妮凯利和毛国权等译)选段进行分析,旨在对小说中语篇的衔接与连贯做一个更加全面的研究。为了更加系统全面地探索小说的特点,本文首先,根据选定的英文版《围城》选段自建一个小型语料库。然后,利用统计工具UAM Corpus Tool 2.7.18对语料进行标注和统计,以确定各种衔接手段在小说文本中的具体使用情况。最后,结合具体实例分析了各种衔接手段在小说中的衔接功能是如何体现的。本文主要运用韩礼德和哈桑提出的衔接与连贯理论,从非结构衔接的角度研究小说中句子之间的衔接与连贯。同时,本论文也采用胡壮麟和张德禄提出的衔接连贯理论的补充观点,从结构衔接的角度对小说的衔接连贯进行研究。分析主要基于非结...
