绘画形式语言视角下肯尼斯·雷克思罗斯的汉诗英译研究

肯尼斯·雷克思罗斯是美国当代著名诗人、翻译家、画家,他一生创作并翻译了大量的诗歌。在汉诗英译方面,他翻译出版了四本汉诗英译集,其英译本对美国诗坛产生了重要影响,引起不少诗人、学者与翻译研究者的关注和探讨。目前学界多从创意英译、改写论、哲学阐释学等角度探讨雷克思罗斯的汉诗英译特色,从绘画视角对其翻译艺术特色进行研究的文献并不多见。基于雷克思罗斯的画家身份及其译作中体现出的绘画性特征,本文拟从绘画形式语言视角进一步探析雷克思罗斯汉诗英译的艺术特色。许多中外学者都提出诗画同源的观点,并认为诗歌与绘画优势互补,和谐交融是艺术多样性完美统一的体现。绘画是一种视觉语言,其情感表达是通过组织、运用线、面、色彩等绘画元素和明暗、透视等构图技巧来实现的。画家用画笔综合运用这些元素和技巧表现自己的情感世界,从而创造出独特的审美价值。而诗人和译者创造性地用文字来构建这些元素和技巧,也能达到相应的审美价值和艺术效果。基于绘画形式语言的基本理论知识,本文从线、面、光、色等绘画元素以及明暗对比和透视等构图技巧两大方面,探讨了雷克思罗斯在其翻译中如何再现了原诗生动场景与有效传达原诗意境的认知过程与艺术特色。通过对原...
