《布默的遗愿清单》（1-8章）英汉翻译实践报告

　　本论文是一篇英汉翻译实践报告,所翻译内容选自都市温情小说《布默的遗愿清单》。这是一部让人印象深刻又感人至深的宠物小说,其作者是美国作家苏珊·佩西克。本书的主要故事情节可以分为三部分:布默生病;一同旅行;新生活,新希望。读者可以跟随主角,沿着66号公路（美国的母亲之路）踏上从芝加哥到加利福尼亚的旅程,去领略那些令人陶醉、直击心灵的风景之美、人性之美。作者通过生动的叙述和描写,努力传达人类与动物之间友爱的重要性。因为小说中含有丰富的文化内涵词汇及短语,还有大量的间接心理描写,因此译者选择了这部小说来做英汉翻译,并在文化翻译观的指导下进行。译者选取第一章到第八章的内容作为本篇报告的翻译材料。因为这八章包涵大量具有文化内涵的词汇和短语,此外,心理描写特别是间接心理描写在这八章中也非常丰富。而且,故事的起因在这部分已经交代清楚,主要的人物角色也各自出场。在文化翻译观的指导之下,译者分别从词汇和句法两个层面同时结合译例来分析翻译难点。在词汇层面,译者着重分析在原文中具有文化内涵的词语与词组。在句法层面,着重对间接心理描写的句子进行细致分析。通过这次翻译报告的撰写,译者发现,对于翻译具有文化内涵的词...
