《男性乌托邦—摧毁硅谷男性俱乐部》（第四章）翻译报告

　　本翻译报告基于美国记者艾米丽·张（Emily Chang）所著的《男性乌托邦——摧毁硅谷男性俱乐部》（Bropotia:Breaking Up the Boys’Club of Silicon Valley）。该书揭露了硅谷里的男权地位,描述了硅谷中从事科技行业女性的真实情况。作者在书中描写了光鲜表面下真实的硅谷,得到了读者的好评,诸多硅谷内行人士也不乏溢美之词。本书于2019年2月出版,据译者调查,目前国内还没有中文译本出版。作为一名记者,艾米丽·张的新闻报道写作风格在该书中也有体现。书中引用了大量对话和数据来证实其真实性。本书语言偏口语化,较容易理解。然而大量口语表达所体现的文化差异给译者和读者造成了一定的理解困难,如俚语的使用和不规范的语法形式。本书作为一部描写硅谷女性生存状况的著作,不可避免地会涉及女性遭受的职场性骚扰,作者也将这些讲述人的性骚扰经历毫不避讳地讲了出来,类似描述在中文出版物中还较为少见,因此译者需要妥善处理这些描述,使其更能为目标语文化读者接受。此外,这本书大部分是作者引用的女性受访者的对话,对话中包含大量脏话和粗话,可能会对中文读者造成很大的“冲击”,因此,译...
