译者主体性视角下《人鼠之间》两个汉译本的对比研究

西方翻译界出现文化转向运动之后,学者们开始更多地思考翻译过程中文化与译者的问题,许多新思潮应运而生,比如西方解构主义、女性主义和后殖民主义。新思潮的出现,不断地更新着人们旧有的文化思想观念,刷新着人们的认知。学者们从不同角度出发,呼吁重新审视译者的地位。国内也相继出现了这方面的研究并且给予了译者主体性丰富的内涵,本文将从译者主体性的三个基本特征来进行译本的对比研究。《人鼠之间》是1962年获得诺贝尔文学奖的美国作家约翰·斯坦贝克的代表作,这本小说一经出版便引发了巨大的热议,小说内涵丰富,风格独树一帜,几十年来对小说的相关研究层出不穷,遗憾的是,国内对于小说译本的研究屈指可数,鉴于此,本文将从译者主体性角度来对比分析小说的两个汉译本。译者主体性具有三个基本特征,主观能动性、被动性和目的性,从这三个特性出发再结合两个汉译本,本文主要从三个角度来做对比研究,首先是对译者历史背景的分析,包括服装、日常事物和行为、称呼以及翻译目的的对比分析,揭示了由于译者历史背景和社会环境的不同,他们在这些方面的表达也大相径庭;其次是对译者文化意识的研究,包括宗教文化、社会文化、方言和粗俗语等方面的对比,揭示了...
