《红高粱》葛浩文译本描写研究：规范视角

　　作为唯一斩获诺贝尔文学奖的中国籍作家,莫言的作品一直备受关注。而在其文学殿堂中,《红高粱家族》作为莫言第一部写就的长篇小说,也是第一部译介到国外的小说,对莫言乃至其整个文学创作生涯都有着非同凡响的意义。葛浩文英译《红高粱》在国外广受好评,为莫言的作品走出去奠定了良好的基础。经过研究分析发现,对《红高粱》葛浩文的英译本研究成果,目前从目的论、关联理论、隐喻、文化负载词、诗学等角度的研究居多,在描写翻译学视域下对《红高粱》进行的研究却少之又少。考虑到描写翻译研究作为国际翻译研究的中流砥柱,扩大了翻译的研究范围,将翻译研究从静态、封闭的文本体系中解放出来,弥补了规定性翻译批评方法的局限性,同时提高了翻译研究的地位,促成了翻译研究的学科化,这两者的结合肯定能够为《红高粱》英译本的研究带来重大的理论意义与现实意义,为后续相关研究提供一定思路与启迪。本文通过结合图里描写翻译学的核心,即从翻译规范视角下对英译本进行分析,发现葛浩文在翻译的过程中,一直把读者需求放在首位,力求让自己的翻译向英语规范靠拢。具体来说,预备规范决定了翻译文本的选择,葛浩文的选择主要受到了翻译政策即一个良好的翻译环境、西方读者...
