生态翻译学视角下的《无名的裘德》中译本研究

《无名的裘德》是英国批判现实主义小说家托马斯·哈代的最后一部长篇小说,深受国内读者的关注和喜爱,目前已出版多个中文译本,其中张谷若先生的版本较为经典、传阅范围也较为广泛。不过近年来,国内部分学者在研究张先生的译文时指出,他在译文中大量使用胶东方言和四字词语等,翻译策略过于归化,没有考虑翻译过程中需要遵守的适度原则。由此,本文将从生态翻译学的角度探讨张谷若先生的《裘德》译本,揭示他在翻译过程中选择相应翻译策略的理论依据和现实依据,帮助读者充分理解张谷若先生注重归化策略背后的原因。为此,本文将从宏观和微观两个层面上分析译本,在宏观层面上全面剖析作品源语生态系统和译入语生态系统呈现的翻译生态环境以及译者对翻译生态环境的适应;在微观层面上,通过典型案例分析张谷若先生作为译者在翻译过程中针对不同文本选择的翻译策略以及译品的整合适应选择度。研究结果表明,张谷若先生在翻译过程中对翻译策略的选择是基于他对哈代写作风格、《裘德》写作背景、文本特点、维多利亚时代特定的文化和宗教特征以及中国二十世纪五十年代至八十年代的文化政策、出版商策略、中西文化差异和国内读者偏好等多种因素的适应,因此最终产出的译文整合适...
