功能对等理论指导下的小说《匆匆那年》翻译实践报告

　　文学翻译在翻译中举足轻重,而小说翻译在文学翻译中也占有一席之地。笔者选译了青年作家九夜茴的代表作品之一《匆匆那年》。该书语言幽默诙谐,人物角色个性鲜明,让人仿佛跟着故事中的女主角方茴一起再次回到了 90年代末的北京,在时间跨度长达十年的叙述中向读者展现80后北京青年们独特的青春回忆。本报告的理论基础是奈达的功能对等理论。该理论着重关注译文的效果以及译文读者的反应,要求译者要准确传达原文的意义,必要时不必拘泥于原文的语言形式。这一理论的目的即尽可能地使译文读者能够得到与原文读者相同的阅读感受。本文是一份汉译英翻译实践报告。翻译项目选自《匆匆那年》的第一章的全部和第二章的前两节。本报告以奈达的功能对等理论为基础,根据翻译中所遇见的问题,结合相应的翻译策略和翻译技巧,如直译和意译,增译法、省略法、语态转移法等,并从词汇、句法和修辞三个层面来展开具体的案例分析,最终完成了本翻译实践报告。通过案例分析,笔者发现在功能对等理论指导下的小说翻译,要求译者不仅要忠实准确地传递原作的思想内容,还要从词汇、句法及修辞等语言特征入手,展开具体的分析,从而使译文读者能够像原文读者一样理解和欣赏原作。在词汇层面...
