《城南旧事》英译本中京味语言的再现

论文研究林海音的京味小说《城南旧事》中京味语言的英译,旨在探究该小说英译本对原作中京味语言的再现。作为经典的京味文学作品,《城南旧事》用地道的京味语言讲述作者儿时在北京生活的故事,描绘了上世纪二三十年代北京城南的风土人情。小说英译本由殷张兰熙和齐邦媛合作完成,译者在基于自身对原作理解的基础上,试图传达原作的内容与风格。归化与异化是文学翻译中常用的翻译理论,论文主要运用该理论探究小说英译本的翻译问题。论文重点对《城南旧事》英译本中的典型翻译示例进行文本分析。通过运用归化与异化理论,论文从京味语言的口语表达、修辞手法、城市描写三个方面展开细致分析,来探讨原作中京味语言在英译本中的再现效果。基于研究分析,论文最后得出《城南旧事》英译本主要采用异化策略,同时也有运用归化策略。通过这两种翻译策略的应用,小说英译本中部分京味语言得以再现,有些则没能再现。在翻译用京味语言描写的文学作品时,译者应根据具体情况合理采用归化与异化策略,从而再现原文内容与风格,促进中国文学走出去。
