精神分析角度下《苏菲的选择》中苏菲的救赎评析

【摘要】：威廉·斯泰伦是一位杰出的、富有创造力的美国作家。他关注的不仅是美国南方及其传统,而且也关注人的生存状态以及整人类的命运与前途。《苏菲的选择》是斯泰伦创作的一部优秀的现实小说,曾获1980年美国国家图书奖,自出版以来始终受到评论界的关注,研究成果丰厚而且有一定深度。精神分析法是有关心智的分析,.其中人格结构理论是弗洛伊德精神分析理论的精髓。弗洛伊德的理论对作家斯泰伦影响很大,然而从人格结构理论角度对《苏菲的选择》的研究却少之又少。基于此,本文试图从弗洛伊德的人格结构理论来分析苏菲的救赎历程,更好地认识苏菲的内心世界,理解小说折射出的人类激情、自我意识和救赎等三个人类生存所面临的问题。本文分为六个部分。第一章为引言部分,简要介绍威廉·斯泰伦及其《苏菲的选择》,在充分的文献综述的基础上提出研究意义以及研究的路径,同时提出论点。第二章介绍了西格蒙德·弗洛伊德及精神分析理论,着重介绍人格结构理论概念,也指出人格结构理论与文本细读结合的可能性。第三章从本我的层面分析苏菲求生和性欲望,说明无论在集中营还是美国社会,苏菲不惜一切代价艰难求生。苏菲的性欲望受到压抑,内森的热情恰恰成了苏菲对性的强烈渴望释放的路径,并指出这是苏菲求生的本能。第四章从自我层面分析苏菲的宗教信仰和精神寄托。分析了残酷的现实影响了苏菲对待宗教信仰的态度,将她从虔诚的信徒变成了抛弃宗教信仰的人,说明她激活防御机制,试图使自己在音乐中远离痛苦的威胁。第五章从超我层面分析苏菲的罪恶感和救赎方式。分析了苏菲的行为违反社会道德,她个人受到良心的谴责的过程。说明为了减轻罪恶感,苏菲不断寻求各种救赎方式,包括个人的死亡。第六章为结论。对论文的主要观点进行总结,并且指出研究的新发现。苏菲的救赎历程不仅将人格结构理论更为具体化,也使人们从中得到教训。同时也揭示了人类救赎的艰辛。
[Abstract]:William Stallone is an outstanding and creative American writer. He is concerned not only about the southern United States and its traditions, but also about the living conditions of the people and the fate and future of the whole class. Sophie's Choice is an excellent realistic novel written by Stallone, who won the 1980 National Book Award of the United States. Since its publication, it has been paid much attention by critics, and the research results are rich and deep. Psychoanalysis is the analysis of the mind. The theory of personality structure is the essence of Freud's psychoanalysis theory. Freud's theory has a great influence on the writer Stallone, but the study of Sophie's Choice from the perspective of personality structure theory is rare. Based on this, this paper attempts to analyze Sophie's redemption process from Freud's theory of personality structure, to better understand Sophie's inner world and to understand the human passion reflected in the novel. Self-consciousness and redemption are three problems of human existence. This paper is divided into six parts. The first chapter is the introduction, which briefly introduces William Stallone and his Choice of Sophie, and puts forward the research significance and research path on the basis of a full literature review, and puts forward the points of view at the same time. The second chapter introduces Sigmund Freud and psychoanalysis theory, mainly introduces the concept of personality structure theory, and points out the possibility of combining personality structure theory with text reading. The third chapter analyzes Sophie's survival and sexual desire from the ego level, and shows that Sophie struggles to survive at all costs, whether in concentration camps or in American society. Sophie's sexual desire is suppressed and Nathan's passion is the way Sophie's intense desire for sex is released, pointing out that it is Sophie's survival instinct. Chapter four analyzes Sophie's religious belief and spiritual sustenance from self-level. The analysis of the cruel reality influenced Sophie's attitude towards religious belief, and changed her from a devout believer to a person who abandoned her religious beliefs. It shows that she activates the defense mechanism and tries to keep herself from the threat of pain in music. Chapter five analyzes Sophie's guilt and redemption from the level of superego. Analysis of Sophie's behavior against social morality, she personally condemned the process of conscience. To alleviate guilt, Sophie has been seeking redemption, including personal death. Chapter six is the conclusion. The main points of the paper are summarized and the new findings of the research are pointed out. Sophie's redemption process not only makes personality structure theory more concrete, but also makes people learn from it. At the same time, it also reveals the hardships of human salvation.
