野蛮与文明的融合变奏——英雄史诗《贝奥武甫》的蛮族文化传统与英国文化精神

【摘要】：来源于日耳曼口传文学形式的英雄史诗《贝奥武甫》长期以来不仅被当作英国文学的开山之作在英国文学史中大放异彩,更是在诸多的日耳曼史及英国史中作为反映盎格鲁-撒克逊部族的重要参考史料屡次出现。这不仅因为现存的反映日耳曼早期历史的资料非常鲜见,更为重要的是出于学界对《贝奥武甫》折射出了日耳曼蛮族文化因子及其对后世文化精神形成所产生的作用的认同。正是有了蛮族的入侵,英国的历史才充满了冲突,然而从某种程度上而言,这种冲突正是历史发展的推动力,冲突中的融合是英国历史发展的主要特点,这也是"英国模式"形成的基础。如果说英雄史诗《贝奥武甫》是历史的一面镜子,这面镜子里呈现的正是英国历史文化中的野蛮与文明融合的独特景观。
[Abstract]:The heroic epic "Beowulf", which originated in the form of oral German literature, was not only regarded as the beginning of English literature for a long time, but also showcased in the history of English literature. In many German history and English history, as an important reference to reflect the Anglo-Saxon tribe. This is not only because the existing materials reflecting the early history of Germania are very rare, but also because the scholars agree that Beowulf reflects the cultural factors of the barbarian Germanic and their role in the formation of the cultural spirit of later generations. It is with the invasion of barbarians that the history of Britain is full of conflicts. However, to some extent, this kind of conflict is the driving force of the development of history, and the integration of conflict is the main characteristic of the development of British history. This is also the basis for the formation of the British model. If the heroic epic "Beowulf" is a mirror of history, this mirror presents a unique view of the integration of barbarism and civilization in British history and culture.
