【摘要】：小说《同名人》和《典型美国人》是移民小说中的经典作品，，也是亚裔美国文学中的璀璨珍宝。两本小说主要讲述了人物如何在移民美国经历各种身份疑惑后不断寻找自己的民族身份认同。本文试图将移民小说中的重要关切，如身份认同构建问题，与跨文化交际学联系起来，以期能用新的视角来解读小说文本。由于小说人物的身份认同具有流变性，是一系列主客观因素的共同结果，故而本文尝试基于跨文化交际学家Y. Y. Kim的跨种族交际情境理论来对小说中人物如何构建民族身份认同进行叙事文本分析和情境因素分析。文学研究中的“空间”在本文中被定义为是一种文化构建，小说中人物通过回忆和叙述不断地重建情境，将过去、现在和未来串联起来，记录着人物的身份认同构建与演进。本文的学术意义在于将跨文化交际学的范式与小说文本分析的结合小试，希冀未来能有更多研究拓宽两门学科的视野。本论文共由四个部分构成：第一部分是论文的导语；第二部分是对亚裔美国文学和移民小说的概览，并对论文中两本小说中的民族身份认同问题的相关文献进行了梳理和研究；接着较为清晰地介绍了本文的本论文的理论支撑和研究方法。第三和第四部分是对两本小说中人物的民族身份认同构建和演进逐个进行叙事文本和情境因素分析：其中第三部分分析了小说《同名人》移民家庭的第一代成员如何在美国社会进行跨文化功能性适应，以及第二代历经了怎样的身份认同斗争；第四部分是记录了小说《典型的美国人》中各个人物在家内外表现出来的迥异的身份认同以及个人命运的演变。这两部分是本论文的核心，小说中的主人公不再是论文的唯一关注对象，而是建立在所假借的理论支撑基础上，对主要人物的身份认同演变进行了细致的分析，如此尝试希冀能够对Y.Y.Kim的跨文化适应模式贡献新的想法。第五部分对两篇小说进行了类比分析。最后结论主要是对全文进行了总结并对论文构思和写作中的不足之处作了一番说明。
[Abstract]:The novels "the same Celebrity" and "the typical American" are the classic works in the immigrant novels, as well as the glittering treasures of Asian American literature. The two novels mainly describe how the characters constantly seek their national identity after they have experienced various identity doubts in the United States. This paper attempts to link the important concerns in immigrant novels, such as identity construction, with cross-cultural communication, in order to interpret the text from a new perspective. Because the identity of the characters in the novel is volatile, it is the common result of a series of subjective and objective factors. Therefore, based on the cross-cultural communicative scientist Y. Y. Kim's theory of cross-racial communication situation, this paper attempts to analyze the narrative text and contextual factors of how the characters construct their national identity in the novel. The "space" in literary research is defined in this paper as a cultural construction, in which the characters constantly reconstruct the situation through recollection and narration, connect the past, present and future, and record the identity construction and evolution of the characters. The academic significance of this paper is to combine the paradigm of cross-cultural communication with the text analysis of novels in order to broaden the vision of the two subjects in the future. This thesis is composed of four parts: the first part is the introduction of the thesis, the second part is the overview of Asian-American literature and immigrant novels, and the related literature on the issue of national identity in the two novels is combed and studied. Then the theoretical support and research methods of this paper are introduced clearly. The third and fourth parts are narrative texts and situational factors analysis on the construction and evolution of the national identity of the characters in the two novels: the third part analyzes the first generation members of the immigrant family in the novel "the same Celebrity" How to adapt to cross-cultural function in American society, The fourth part is to record the different identities and the evolution of the personal destiny of the characters in the novel "the typical American" at home and abroad. These two parts are the core of this thesis. The protagonists in the novel are no longer the only objects of concern, but based on the theoretical support, the evolution of the identity of the main characters is analyzed in detail. This attempt is expected to contribute new ideas to Y.Y.Kim 's cross-cultural adaptation model. The fifth part carries on the analogy analysis to the two novels. The final conclusion is a summary of the full text and an explanation of the inadequacies in the conception and writing of the thesis.
