[Abstract]:Tony Morrison is one of the famous contemporary writers in the United States and the first African-American woman writer to win the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1993. Morrison's works are rooted in the history and reality of black Americans and reflect the spiritual world and destiny of blacks. She is a prolific writer. Her third novel, Song of Solomon, is the only novel in which the male is the protagonist. Using Jacques Lacan's subjective theory, this paper analyzes the psychological growth of milkman. Its growth process is the process of the formation of the subject. Through the three stages of "reality", "imagination" and "symbolism", we can clearly see the psychological growth track of dairy people. From a young black man who is selfish, ruthless and absorbed by white people into a successor of African tradition and culture, the milkman established his identity as a black man, formed the subject and completed the double growth of body and mind. Through this novel, Morrison points out the direction of development for African-American blacks: only based on the reality of the United States and inheriting African culture and tradition, can real freedom and development be achieved.
