典故与戏拟：互文性视角下的《蝇王》

戈尔丁作为1983年的诺贝尔奖得主,自然吸引了不少文学评论家和学者的关注。他的作品以其诗歌般的叙述风格以及对人性的深刻的洞察力而著称。尽管,迄今为止,评论《蝇王》的文章可谓汗牛充栋,但并非就没有再研究的空间。现有的评论主要是传记性的,集中于作品的主题,对文本内部的多元结构以及文本与其他文本之间的互文性研究不够,因而使我们对《蝇王》的解读有失偏狭。 本文试图从互文性视角对《蝇王》进行重新解读,以共时研究的方法,强调文本内容与文本形式之间的相互作用,重视文本间的相互指涉,将文本从单一的阅读语境中解脱出来,并置于广阔的文化背景中加以审视,并指出小说意义的生成正是多文本相互交叉,联系,作用的结果。本文从热奈特所界定的狭义的互文性中包含的两种互文手法,共存关系的互文手法典故(allusion)和派生关系的互文手法戏仿(parody)来重新解读《蝇王》和其“前文本”——英国荒岛文学、圣经神话、古希腊神话、古希腊悲剧和原始社会历史文本等的相互指涉和意义关联,以期通过这些“互文本”来发掘文本的深层内涵,为读者解读《蝇王》提供新的视野。 论文共分为五章。第一章是引言,简要介绍了戈尔丁的生平、文学成就、国...
