论《看得见风景的房间》的艺术技巧

19世纪—20世纪之交正值英国文学从传统到革新的转折时期。福斯特正是在此期间重要的英国小说家。他在小说的艺术技巧上有其独到之处——在创作中他既不恪守陈旧的传统手法,又不追求极端的新潮流派,而是努力发扬现实主义之优长,同时吸取现代主义之精华,所以传统和革新在他身上交替并存。《看得见风景的房间》是一部颇具特色的作品,将现实主义与现代主义的有机融合。本文旨在分析该小说在创作中运用的艺术技巧:对比、象征、音乐和美术主导旋律、暗示、讽刺等,以及这些艺术技巧在揭示文章主题方面所发挥的积极的作用,从而使我们对小说的主题以及福斯特的艺术创作技巧有更好的理解。
