从功能对等角度比较《哈克贝里·费恩历险记》的两个中译本

　　1969年美国语言学家尤金·A·奈达提出了“动态对等”或“功能对等”的翻译理论,大大促进了翻译的发展。但是,近年来越来越多的学者对其适用范围产生了怀疑。本论文旨在肯定功能对等理论对翻译的指导作用。 以往的翻译理论重视译文与原文的对照,单纯从语言转换的角度来研究翻译。与以往不同的是功能对等理论强调读者的主体作用,它指出翻译的目的是使译文接受者对译文信息的反应与原文接受者对原文信息的反应基本相同。本文尝试以这一理论为基础,通过对马克·吐温小说《哈克贝里·费恩历险记》的两个中译本的对比分析,探索这一理论是如何指导译者忠实地再现原作的。同时得出本文结论:翻译是可行的,大致的对等是可以实现的。 为了说明翻译中的对等,本文从“意思对等”和“风格对等”两方面来进行论述。论文以这部小说为例,探讨了翻译时若想达到“风格对等”应注重语言风格的对等并提出了达到这种对等的三种途径。
