【摘要】: 1988年黄哲伦的戏剧《蝴蝶君》在百老汇赢得了商业上的巨大成功,同时荣获该年托尼奖,赢得了主流戏剧界的认可。1993年大卫·柯南伯格将该剧改编为电影,为该剧赢得了更广范围的受众。从符号学的角度看,美国华裔戏剧《蝴蝶君》是一个大的文化符号场,出于百老汇戏剧艺术性、文化性和商业性的考虑,黄哲伦在该剧中设置了大量文化符号。对于这些文化符号,主流戏剧界、文学批评界和大众表现出了不同的兴趣点,给予了不同层面的解读。电影版《蝴蝶君》实际上是导演柯南伯格对戏剧《蝴蝶君》的个性化解读和诠释的产物。 本文从文化符号传播的角度研究黄哲伦戏剧《蝴蝶君》中的文化符号及其在美国产生的文化效应,并以此探讨异质文化符号的传播和接受中符号先行文化策略的可行性,以及文化误读的积极作用。 第一章概述国内外对黄哲伦戏剧《蝴蝶君》的研究现状,并确立从文化符号传播的理论维度研究该剧及其在美国的接受,提出论文的研究意义和研究价值。 第二章分析黄哲伦在戏剧《蝴蝶君》设置的种种文化符号,以及这些文化符号在该剧的商业性、策略性和艺术性诉求中的作用。 第三章在对比分析戏剧《蝴蝶君》和电影改编版《蝴蝶君》的基础上,考察大卫·柯南伯格对黄哲伦戏剧的接受和诠释。具体从三个层面展开论述,即对原戏剧主题的置换、人物角色功能的转换以及柯南伯格对符号化东方的理解和重新塑造,旨在论证柯南伯格对戏剧《蝴蝶君》文化符号的接受和创造性诠释。 最后,第四章从大众、戏剧界、文学批评界对该剧的不同关注点,分析美国受众基于自身不同的文化视野,对《蝴蝶君》文化符号的不同理解和接受。对《蝴蝶君》文化效应的考察,实际上是对该剧在美国传播效果与接受的考察,并借此探讨文化误读和符号先行文化策略在异质文化交流中的积极作用。
[Abstract]:In 1988 Huang Zhelun's drama < butterfly > won a great commercial success on Broadway, also won the Toni prize, won the recognition of.1993 mainstream theatre in David Conan Berg will play for the film adaptation, won a wider audience for the show. From the perspective of semiotics, the United States Chinese drama < > butterfly is a cultural symbol of the large field for Broadway theater arts, cultural and commercial considerations, Huang Zhelun set up a lot of cultural symbols in the play. For these cultural symbols, mainstream theatre, literary critics and the public showed different points of interest, given the interpretation different level. The movie version of "Butterfly" is actually the product of director Conan Berg to play "Butterfly" personalized interpretation and interpretation.
From the perspective of cultural symbol transmission, this paper studies the cultural symbols in Huang Zhelun's drama butterfly and its cultural effects in the US, and explores the feasibility of the cultural strategy of the symbol's first move and the positive role of cultural misreading in the dissemination and reception of the heterogeneous cultural symbols.
The first chapter summarizes the research status of Huang Zhelun's drama Butterfly King at home and abroad, and establishes the acceptance of the drama and its acceptance in the United States from the theoretical dimension of cultural symbol communication, and puts forward the research significance and research value of the thesis.
The second chapter analyzes Huang Zhelun's various cultural symbols in the drama "Butterfly King", as well as the role of these cultural symbols in the commercial, strategic and artistic appeal of the play.
In the third chapter, a comparative analysis of drama < butterfly > and < > movie adaptation of butterfly on the basis of the study, David Conan Berg Huang Zhelun on the drama acceptance and interpretation. Concretely discusses from three aspects, namely the replacement of the original drama theme, characters and functions of the role conversion of symbolic Oriental Nanboge Ke understanding and re shaping, to prove that Conan Berg on the drama < butterfly > cultural symbols accepted and creative interpretation.
Finally, the fourth chapter from the public, the theatre, the drama circles on the different concerns of literary criticism, analysis of American audiences own different cultural perspective based on different understanding and acceptance of < butterfly > cultural sign. Study on < butterfly > cultural effect, is actually on the play in the United States and communication effect accept the inspection, and to explore the positive role of cultural misreading and cultural symbols first strategy in culture communication.
