【摘要】：正2016年9月10日,以曹雪芹著名小说编剧而成的英文版原创歌剧《红楼梦》在美国旧金山的战争纪念歌剧院隆重首演。首演之轰动呈现了近年来美国新创作歌剧中少有的盛况。《纽约时报》在首演之前就以长篇专访介绍了该剧的创作概念和历程,美国其他主要报刊及网站也在首演前后进行了广泛的报道和评论。斯坦福大学的"泛亚艺术节"在首演一年多之前就推出了歌剧片段试演
[Abstract]:It's September 10th 2016. The English version of the original opera "A Dream of Red Mansions", written by Cao Xueqin's famous novel, premiered at the War Memorial Opera House in San Francisco, USA. The sensation of the premiere presented a rare occasion in recent years among the newly created operas in the United States. The New York Times introduced the concept and history of the play in a long interview before its premiere. Other major newspapers and websites in the United states also reported and commented extensively before and after the premiere.
