两种风格的回环与混合——谈音乐在话剧《心之罪》中的运用

【摘要】:话剧《心之罪》是美国当代剧作家贝丝·亨利的作品,音乐在整部剧中起到了至关重要的作用,所有的音乐全都来自于场景中一台收音机,播放出的音乐兼具着剧中的自然音响和演出的配乐两种性质。它具有三种功能:渲染情调、表现人物、确定风格。考虑到上述特性,该剧音乐设计的构思是两种音乐风格的回环和混合。音乐素材的选择考虑体现剧情的年代和地域:以上个世纪70年代前后美国流行的乡村音乐和摇滚音乐为主。乡村音乐的曲调简单,节奏平稳,充满着忧郁的叙事性,具有较浓的乡村淳朴气息,代表剧中人物压抑、忧伤的一面;摇滚乐的曲调高亢奔放,包含了大量的切分音和低音,节奏感强烈,表现出剧中人物内心躁动和积极奋进的一面。两种不同的音乐风格,视剧情需要交替出现,形成两种风格的回环与混合。不仅满足了该剧对于音乐的需求,同时发挥了音乐的感染力和表现力的特性。
[Abstract]:The play "the sin of the Heart" is the work of contemporary American playwright Beth Henry, and music plays a vital role throughout the play, all of which comes from a radio in the scene. The music played has both the natural sound of the play and the soundtrack of the performance. It has three functions: to render the sentiment, to express the character, to determine the style. The musical design of the play is conceived as a combination of two musical styles. The choice of musical material reflects the age and region of the plot: the popular country music and rock music around 70s in the last century. The tunes of country music are simple, The rhythm is steady, full of melancholy narrative, with a strong rural simplicity, representing the characters in the play depressed, sad side; rock music high and bold tunes, including a large number of syncopation and bass, strong rhythm, It shows that the characters in the play are restless and aggressive in heart. The two different musical styles appear alternately as the plot requires, forming a circle and mixing of the two styles. This not only satisfies the music demand of the play, At the same time played the appeal of music and expressive characteristics.
