爱美剧运动的历史检讨

【摘要】: 爱美剧运动是中国戏剧现代化进程中的一个重要环节,这一戏剧运动的开展,实现了从早期话剧到话剧完成阶段的重要转折。爱美剧运动在二十年代盛极一时,其影响遍及全国,又因为本身存在的不足渐趋衰落,本文力图对爱美剧运动的兴起和衰落做一全面的观照,对导致其走向衰落的理论和实践缺陷做出历史性的检讨。 全文分为四章: 第一章具体阐述了爱美剧运动的发展历程。五四期间关于新旧戏剧的激烈争论和文明新戏的惨败是爱美剧运动兴起的历史背景。以《华伦夫人之职业》演出失败为肇始,爱美剧运动的热潮在全国范围内展开,民众戏剧社、上海戏剧协社和北京人艺戏剧专门学校分别成为爱美剧运动在理论、实践和戏剧教育方面的重要代表。对旧戏和文明新戏的批判在爱美剧运动中得到了进一步的发展。 第二章详细论述了爱美剧运动的理论来源和建树。爱美剧运动承接了五四学习西方的良好传统,广泛借鉴外国戏剧理论。对外国戏剧有针对性的引进和借鉴促进了爱美剧运动理论的确立和发展。陈大悲的长文《爱美的戏剧》作为爱美剧运动的重要理论成果,成为戏剧运动的指导书籍。爱美剧运动深受西方小剧场运动影响,在戏剧观、戏剧的民众化等方面取得了巨大成就。 第三章全面展示了爱美剧运动在实践方面的探索。爱美剧运动使学生演剧从自发到自觉,成为一场有目的、有理论、有组织的戏剧运动。洪深领导下的上海戏剧协社是爱美剧运动实践领域的重镇,真正使爱美剧运动的理论倡导得到了实现。建立剧本制、提高戏剧的文学性是爱美剧运动的重要方面,陈大悲、汪仲贤和蒲伯英等爱美剧运动的倡导者身体力行,创作了一大批剧本,在剧本创作方面初见成绩。人艺戏剧专门学校是爱美剧运动发展的重要转折,也开创了中国戏剧教育事业的先河。 第四章深入探讨了爱美剧运动发展中存在的重要问题。对爱美剧运动在话剧史上的意义进行肯定。对剧本创作、表演体系和舞台美术等爱美剧运动中实践与理论之间的差距进行分析。业余化和专业化之间的矛盾是困扰早期戏剧发展的重要问题,也是爱美剧运动走向衰落的重要原因,对这一问题的讨论造成了戏剧向职业化道路发展的趋势。 结语:爱美剧运动在特殊的历史背景下兴起,致力于创建新的戏剧,极力扫除文明新戏残留的弊病,在理论探讨和实践探索方面都取得了巨大成就,同时,由于历史的惯性和爱美剧运动本身的缺陷,爱美剧运动的理论与实践之间存在巨大差距,留下了诸多遗憾,但它毕竟实现了中国现代戏剧运动的最初理想,为戏剧向职业化、正规化方向发展打下了基础。
[Abstract]:The love-American drama movement is an important link in the process of Chinese drama modernization. The development of this drama movement has realized an important turning point from the early stage of drama to the stage of completion of drama.
