晚清上海租界外侨音乐活动述略之三——上海开埠后来沪造访的各国军舰及当地驻军的音乐活动

【摘要】：本文以上海为例,对1843年11月上海开埠后来沪造访的军舰及驻守上海的外国军队的音乐活动予以钩沉。旨在透过西文报刊、节目单、相片等一手文献,详析来沪各国军乐队的组成、表演的形式、所演奏的曲目及其所产生影响。此外,探构西式军乐队在晚清政局下寓华外侨文化生活中的作用也是本文的目的之一。
[Abstract]:Taking Shanghai as an example, the musical activities of the warships visiting Shanghai and the foreign troops stationed in Shanghai since the opening of Shanghai in November 1843 have been heeded up in this paper. The purpose of this paper is to analyze in detail the composition of the military bands in Shanghai, the form of performances, the repertoire and the impact of the performances through the western language newspapers, programmes, photographs, etc. In addition, the purpose of this paper is to explore the role of western-style military bands in the cultural life of overseas Chinese under the political situation of the late Qing Dynasty.
