【摘要】： 警察职业道德是警察在警务工作中必须遵守的行为准则,它是警察正确履行职责、密切警民关系、树立良好社会形象的必要保证。警察职业的特殊性决定了警察在从事职业活动过程中,必须要无条件地遵守制约其行为的职业道德规范,这不仅能建设一支忠诚可靠、纪律严明、训练有素、作风过硬的警察队伍,也能使这支队伍取得民众的信任,更是社会对警察的期待。在社会主义市场经济下,我国人民警察职业道德受到了极大的冲击和考验。因此,加强人民警察职业道德建设、强化人民警察职业道德教育、促进人民警察职业道德自律、建立人民警察职业道德监督惩戒机制,是解决人民警察职业道德存在问题的重要途径。本文将试图概述人民警察职业及其职业特征,论述我国人民警察的职业道德;分析当前我国人民警察职业道德现状;研究解决人民警察队伍存在的道德问题的办法和途径。其目的是有利于人民警察素质的提高,促进人民警察职业道德建设。
