户籍身份转变对居民生活满意度的影响研究——基于CFPS追踪数据的PSM-DID估计

【摘要】：本文利用CFPS(2010年和2012年)两期的追踪数据,采用将倾向得分匹配和双重差分相结合的PSM-DID方法实证检验了户籍身份转变对居民生活满意度的实际影响。研究发现,总体上,市民身份的获得确实存在显著的幸福增进作用,那些在我国新型城镇化建设过程中获得城市户口的农村居民对于当前生活的满意程度显著较高。同时,这种幸福增进作用在不同规模城市之间存在显著差异,市民化身份的转变能够显著提升那些在规模较小城市落户居民的生活满意度,而对于那些落户于大城市的居民而言,市民身份的获得却并不能够增进他们的生活满意程度。
[Abstract]:Based on the tracking data of CFPS (2010 and 2012), this paper empirically tests the effect of the change of household registration status on the residents' life satisfaction by using the PSM-DID method which combines the propensity score matching and the double difference method. It is found that, on the whole, the acquisition of citizen identity does have a significant role in promoting happiness, and those rural residents who have obtained urban hukou in the process of new urbanization construction in China have significantly higher satisfaction with their current life. At the same time, there are significant differences in the role of this kind of happiness among different size cities, and the change of citizenship status can significantly improve the life satisfaction of those who have settled in smaller cities. For those living in big cities, the attainment of citizenship does not improve their level of satisfaction.
