战后台湾建筑现代性研究

【摘要】:现代化是人类不断摆脱迷信、愚昧和专制的过程,也是追求理性、科学和民主的过程。现代化改变了人类传统的文化取向和价值系统,对于一个民族或地区而言,现代化是努力以赴的目标。战后台湾建筑现代化取得了丰硕的成绩,也经历了曲折的道路。由于对现代性的认识局限以及实用主义倾向,战后台湾建筑现代化面临着东西方文化“横向移植”与古今传统“纵向转化”的继承上对立,此传统性与现代性的对立、取舍与融合的过程,一方面是自然地承继传统建筑文化,另一方面则不可避免地受到现代主义建筑体系框架的影响,展现了独特的非西方国家的反历史倾向。本研究以现代性理论作为切入点,并结合价值观、辩证思维,以哲学和社会学的交叉视角研究战后台湾建筑;从特定的历史时势角度,构建建筑现代性理论框架,揭示建筑意识形态与社会关系再生产的复杂关系,并以此建立论文的研究范畴。在此基础上,通过建立双轴线与逻辑单元结合的研究方法,即以建筑现代性的普遍性与战后台湾建筑的特殊性为两条结构轴线,构建战后台湾建筑的启蒙现代性、文化现代性和审美现代性三个逻辑单元为研究体系,并围绕这一观点探讨建筑现代性核心与本质。 首先,本文从社会存在和社会意识两个路径,提出了现代性“三分法”,,将建筑现代性分成文化现代性和审美现代性。而启蒙现代性是文化现代性的最初主要体现,其核心与基础是理性主义。通过剖析建筑现代性的条件要素、目标要素以及动力要素,建构建筑启蒙现代性的成长路径、建筑文化现代性的发展路径以及建筑审美现代性的实现路径。 其次,本文的主体部分基于建筑现代性理论框架的建立,从战后美国对台经济援助对台湾建筑学院教育的启蒙性、文化守成思想与中华道统意识的文化性,以及“宫殿式”民族形式与现代主义形态的审美性等三方面展示战后台湾建筑现代化经历了由表及里、建筑现代性的表达渐进达理的过程。通过建构建筑现代性的整体观和时空观,从依赖的启蒙现代性、断裂的文化现代性、暧昧的审美现代性分别理顺战后台湾建筑现代性的理性、人文和感性脉络、解析战后台湾建筑现代性的精神内涵,探寻战后台湾建筑实践的深层社会因素。 最后,通过综合分析战后台湾建筑现代性发展环境、发展历程和发展路径,本文提出,建筑现代性并不是孤立于社会意识形态,它有时间向度的纵向深度和空间向度横向广度,其核心体系包括整体性与时空性,其中整体性是总体效能和场所的精神建构,时间性是传统与现代的冲突与对话,空间性是地域与现代的纷争与兼容;建筑现代性理论体系建构不能脱离社会背景,也就是社会历史的纵向深度和文化背景的横向广度。论文的结论揭示建筑现代性的本质是民主性与科学性。 由于意识形态的差异,1949年以后,中国大陆和中国台湾走上了截然不同的发展道路,然而两岸中国人基于共同的华夏文明,在面对建筑现代化的发展目标时,相互之间仍有不少的共通之处,并可相互借鉴。本文期望借由对建筑现代性理论在战后台湾发展经验的分析,了解不同支配性历史力量在意识形态的竞逐过程中,如何透过建筑的象征表现,空间的文化形式等渗透角度,以掌握政治与艺术,意识形态与文化形式之间的微妙关系,旨在提炼和思考建筑设计实践普遍共有的现实问题。同时也针对典型性建筑案例做客观评价,期望借由针对战后台湾主流建筑师在特定情境下的设计进行整理与剖析,以凸显其背后的根本观点、理论工具与角度方法等,以期中国大陆在建筑现代化的实践中能突破同样的困境。研究战后台湾建筑现代性的启蒙、发展及演变,探寻战后台湾建筑多元表现及其历史构成背后的深层次原因,不仅有助于廓清战后台湾建筑现代性发展的得失,也警醒中国大陆建筑在现代化历程中避免简单地跟随国际时尚的前车之辙。
[Abstract]:Human modernization is to get rid of superstition, ignorance and autocratic process, but also the pursuit of rational, scientific and democratic process. The modernization changes the traditional human culture orientation and value system, for a nation or region, modernization is to target. Taichung Bay building modernization has achieved fruitful results, but also experience the twists and turns of the road. Due to limitations on the modernity and the tendency of pragmatism, postwar Taiwan modern architecture is facing Western culture "transplant" and "inherit the ancient traditional vertical transformation" on the opposition, the opposition of tradition and modernity, choice and integration process, on the one hand is the natural succession of traditional architecture culture, on the other hand is inevitably influenced by the modern architecture of the framework, to show the anti historical tendency in non western countries is unique. In this study, Modernity The theory as a starting point, combined with the values, dialectical thinking, philosophy and sociology of post-war cross view architecture in Taiwan; from the specific historical time perspective, construct a framework for building modern theory, reveals the complex relationship between architecture ideology and social reproduction, and establish the research category. On this basis, through the Study on method of establishing double axis and logic unit combination, the particularity of the construction of modernity and postwar Taiwan building as the two axis structure, construction of postwar Taiwan architectural enlightenment modernity and cultural modernity and aesthetic modernity three logic elements as the research system, and discusses the essence and core of modern architecture around this point of view.
First of all, this article from the social existence and social consciousness, the two path, put forward the modern "three law", the construction of modernity into cultural modernity and aesthetic modernity. Modernity is the initial culture mainly reflects modernity, the core and foundation of rationalism. Through the analysis of the conditions of modern architecture the target elements, factors and dynamic factors, construct the growth path of building modern enlightenment, the realization path of development path of modern architectural culture and architectural aesthetic modernity.
Secondly, the main part of this paper establish a framework based on the theory of modern architecture, from the Enlightenment of the post-war economic assistance to the Taiwan School of architecture education, culture and cultural conservatism thought of the Confucian orthodoxy consciousness, and the "palace style" national style and modernist aesthetic form three aspects of architecture in Taiwan after World War II modernization has experienced from the outside to the inside of the gradual building of modern expression, reasonable process. Through the overall construction of modernity and Modern Enlightenment from the view of time and space, dependence, cultural modernity fracture, ambiguous aesthetic modernity respectively to straighten out the modern rational construction of postwar Taiwan, humanities and perceptual context of modern architecture in Taiwan the spirit of the connotation of war, seeking the deep social factors in postwar Taiwan architectural practice.
Finally, through the comprehensive analysis of postwar Taiwan building modern development environment, development process and development path, in this paper, the construction of modernity is not isolated from the social ideology, it is time to the depth of the vertical and spatial dimension of transverse breadth, the core of the whole system including space and time, which is the overall construction of the overall the performance and the spirit of place, time is the traditional and modern conflict and dialogue space is regional and modern disputes and compatibility; system of building modernity theory can not be divorced from the social background, which is the social historical and cultural background of the depth of transverse breadth. The conclusion of this paper reveals the essence of modernity is the democratic construction and science.
Because of differences in ideology, after 1949, China, and China Taiwan embarked on a completely different development path, but both sides Chinese based on common Chinese civilization, in the face of the construction of modernization development goals, there is still a lot in common with each other, and can learn from each other. This paper is expected by the analysis of development experience in postwar Taiwan the construction of modern theory, understand the different dominant historical forces compete in the process of ideology, how to through the symbolic representation of architecture, space culture form penetration angle, to grasp the politics and art, the subtle relationship between ideology and culture form, to refine the thinking and practice of architectural design is common to all problems. At the same time according to the typical case of building objective evaluation, expected by the mainstream for postwar Taiwan architects in the particular context of the whole Theory and analysis, to highlight the fundamental view behind the theoretical tool and perspective method, in order to China, in the practice of modernization construction can break through the same dilemma. Study of post-war Taiwan building the modern initiation, development and evolution, to explore the post-war Taiwan building is multivariate and historical form behind the deep-seated reasons not only helps to clarify the development of modern architecture in postwar Taiwan gains and losses, also alert in the process of modernization construction, China avoid before the car simply follow the international fashion rut.
