工程项目经理人格与风险感知关系:风险倾向的中介作用

【摘要】:工程项目经理作为风险管理的主要负责人在项目实施过程中会面临多种多样的风险决策。不同性格的项目经理面对同一风险也会做出不同的判断,从而可能制定完全不同的风险管理策略。风险决策行为主要受到三个方面因素的影响,个体特征、决策任务特征以及决策环境特征,且这些因素主要是通过风险倾向和风险感知进一步影响决策者的风险决策行为。本研究主要从项目经理个体层面出发探究其人格特征对风险感知的影响关系,并验证风险倾向在人格与风险感知关系中起到的中介作用。本研究首先提出项目经理大五人格、风险倾向和风险感知三者之间关系的4项假设,构建了关系模型框架;接着通过问卷调查的方式向中国大陆的工程行业管理人员以邮件形式发放调查问卷,最终回收了102份有效数据;基于SPSS 19.0软件对数据进行处理,采用了相关分析、线性回归分析和层次回归分析法验证提出的假设。数据分析结果表明:1)项目经理的外倾性和随和性因素显著影响其风险倾向,外倾性强的个体更偏向风险追求,而随和性高的个体的风险倾向水平较低;2)项目经理的风险倾向对其风险感知有显著的负影响;3)项目经理的外倾性和随和性因素显著影响其风险感知,外倾性得分高的个体感知到的风险水平低,而随和性强的个体其风险感知的水平高;4)项目经理的风险倾向在外倾性、随和性与风险感知的关系之间起着完全中介作用,人格因素需要完全通过风险倾向的作用进一步影响个体的风险感知。同时,本研究并没有验证大五人格中其他三个因素(即责任心、情绪稳定性和经验开放性)与风险倾向、风险感知之间的关系。本研究在理论上通过中介变量风险倾向的引入解释了项目经理大五人格因素如何影响其风险感知,从而进一步了解项目经理的风险感知过程。同时,研究结果在实践方面有利于通过人格特质更好地预测项目经理的风险倾向和风险感知,使得管理人员能够更加深入地了解其是如何感知和应对风险的,从而有助于了解他们的风险决策行为。
[Abstract]:The project manager, as the main person in charge of risk management, will face a variety of risk decisions in the process of project implementation. Project managers with different personalities also make different judgments about the same risks, which may lead to completely different risk management strategies. Risk decision behavior is mainly affected by three factors, individual characteristics, decision task characteristics and decision environment characteristics, and these factors further influence the decision makers' risk decision behavior through risk tendency and risk perception. This study mainly explores the impact of personality characteristics on risk perception from the individual level of the project manager and verifies the intermediary role of risk orientation in the relationship between personality and risk perception. In this study, four hypotheses of the relationship among Big five Personality, risk propensity and risk perception of Project Manager are put forward, and a relational model framework is constructed. Then through the way of questionnaire survey to the management of the engineering industry in mainland China to send the questionnaire in the form of mail, finally recovered 102 valid data, based on SPSS 19.0 software to process the data, using the related analysis, The hypothesis is verified by linear regression analysis and hierarchical regression analysis. The results of data analysis show that: 1) the extraversion and easygoing factors of project manager significantly affect their risk propensity, and the individuals with strong extroversion tend to pursue risk. The risk propensity of the project manager has a significant negative effect on his risk perception. 3) the extraversion and easygoing factors of the project manager have a significant impact on the risk perception. Individuals with high extraversion score have low perceived risk level, while those with strong easygoing score have high risk perception level. 4) the risk tendency of project managers plays a complete intermediary role in the relationship between extroversion, easyness and risk perception. Personality factors need to further influence individual risk perception through the role of risk propensity. At the same time, this study did not verify the relationship between the other three factors (responsibility, emotional stability and openness of experience), risk tendency and risk perception in Big five personality. This study theoretically explains how the risk perception of project manager is influenced by the factor of "Big five Personality" through the introduction of risk tendency of intermediary variable, so as to further understand the process of risk perception of project manager. At the same time, the results of the study can better predict the risk tendency and risk perception of project managers through personality traits, so that managers can understand more deeply how they perceive and deal with risks. This helps to understand their risk decision-making behavior.
