工程项目《建筑消防设施检测方案》计算机辅助汉英翻译实践报告

【摘要】:本文是一篇关于计算机辅助工程项目—《建筑消防设施检测方案》的汉英翻译的实践报告。该报告所探讨的问题主要有三个方面:一是建筑消防工程项目的翻译策略;二是计算机辅助翻译技术(以“雅信CAT系统”为例)在翻译项目管理、术语统一性、译文风格、翻译效率、译文准确度等方面的优势;三是人工翻译与计算机辅助翻译技术的有效结合。笔者的研究目的是验证计算机辅助翻译技术(以‘雅信CAT系统”为例)在辅助译者从事建筑工程翻译工作中的可行性。该报告较为详细地描述了运用计算机辅助工程技术项目《建筑消防设施检测方案》进行汉英翻译的过程,介绍了翻译过程中运用的翻译理论—功能对等理论,分析了典型的翻译案例,总结了“雅信CAT系统”在建筑工程项目翻译过程中的翻译优势和使用价值,最后,概括总结了运用“雅信CAT系统”过程中发现的问题及不足。该报告的研究意义在于:帮助读者了解计算机辅助翻译系统“雅信CAT”的工作流程;帮助读者了解在建筑类工程项目文本翻译中使用计算机辅助系统“雅信CAT”的优势;帮助读者了解在专业性强的翻译项目中实现人工翻译与计算机辅助翻译技术相结合的可行性。
[Abstract]:This paper is a practical report on the Chinese-English translation of the project of Computer-Aided Engineering-"Inspection Scheme of Building Fire Protection facilities". There are three main problems discussed in the report: first, translation strategy of building fire engineering project; second, computer assisted translation technology (taking "Yaxin CAT system" as an example) in translation project management, consistency of terminology, translation style. Translation efficiency, translation accuracy and other advantages; third, the effective combination of manual translation and computer-assisted translation technology. The purpose of this study is to verify the feasibility of computer-assisted translation (CAT) in the construction engineering translation of auxiliary translators. The report describes in detail the process of Chinese-English translation using the computer-aided engineering project "Building Fire Facility Inspection Scheme", and introduces the translation theory-functional equivalence theory used in the translation process. This paper analyzes the typical translation cases, summarizes the translation advantages and application value of Yaxin CAT system in the process of construction project translation, and finally summarizes the problems and shortcomings found in the application of Yaxin CAT system. The research significance of the report lies in: helping readers understand the workflow of the computer-aided translation system "Yaxin CAT", and helping readers understand the advantages of using the computer-aided system "CAT" in the translation of architectural engineering projects. To help readers understand the feasibility of combining manual translation with computer-assisted translation in professional translation projects.
