机会主义和信任对工程项目成功影响的实证研究

【摘要】:随着我国经济社会的快速发展和城镇化进程的不断加速,新建筑不断出现,建筑业也已成为我国经济发展的重要支柱,其在国民经济中的地位越来越重要。然而,建筑业长期存在着低效、绩效差等问题。建筑业是典型的项目驱动型行业,建筑企业的收入和利润来源于一个个具体的项目。因此,在建筑行业领域,如何提高项目成功始终是核心命题。学者们从项目管理和治理两种视角对此做了大量的探讨。一般来说,工程项目包含了诸多参与方,包括业主、承包商、分包商、设计方、监理方等,这些来自不同组织的参与方之间往往在利益上存在一定的差异,他们之间的关系也多表现为对抗性和无效性。随着工程项目建设规模越来越大、涉及面越来越广,技术难度和组织难度也越来越高,项目内部不同组织成员之间,项目与外部利益相关者之间相互联系、相互制约,关系也越来越错综复杂。项目各参与方之间的关系很大程度上取决与他们之间的合作行为。关于参与方的行为假定,交易成本理论和关系交换理论从不同的视角分别指出参与方之间存在机会主义和信任两种行为模式。在项目建设过程中,各参与方的行为模式以及在此基础上形成的合作模式会直接影响项目成功。因此,对工程项目中机会主义和信任行为的进一步研究是提高项目效率、确保项目成功迫切需要正视与解决的要点。从目前的研究来看,尽管从交易成本理论和关系交换理论视角出发,对机会主义和信任这两种基本的行为模式做了大量的研究,但这些研究更多的是将机会主义和信任分开研究,较少探讨两者对交易产生的共同影响。基于交易成本理论和关系交换理论,本研究分析了在环境不确定性和复杂性的背景下机会主义和信任对工程项目成功影响的路径,并运用结构方程模型进行实证研究。结果发现:(1)环境不确定性对机会主义有显著的正影响,对信任有显著的负影响,但复杂性对机会主义和信任的影响并不显著;(2)机会主义与信任之间存在着显著的负影响;信任对项目成功(项目绩效与关系满意)有显著的正影响;机会主义对关系满意有显著的负影响,并且通过关系满意对项目绩效也有间接的负影响;(3)项目合作期限正向调节信任对项目成功的正影响。研究表明抑制机会主义和提高信任,尤其是提高信任对项目成功有重要意义,这对提高工程建筑项目的效率有较好的启示。
[Abstract]:With the rapid development of our country's economy and society and the acceleration of urbanization, new buildings are emerging constantly, and the construction industry has become an important pillar of our country's economic development, and its position in the national economy is becoming more and more important. However, the construction industry has long been inefficient, poor performance and other problems. Construction industry is a typical project-driven industry. The income and profit of construction enterprises come from specific projects. Therefore, in the field of construction industry, how to improve project success is always the core proposition. Scholars from the two perspectives of project management and governance to do a lot of research. Generally speaking, the project includes many participants, including the owner, contractor, subcontractor, designer, supervisor, etc. These participants from different organizations often have different interests. The relationship between them also shows more antagonism and ineffectiveness. With the construction scale of engineering project becoming larger and wider, the technical difficulty and the organization difficulty are more and more high, the members of different organizations within the project, the project and the external stakeholders are interrelated and restrict each other. Relationships are also becoming more and more complex. The relationship between the project participants depends to a large extent on their cooperative behavior. With regard to the behavior assumptions of participants, transaction cost theory and relationship exchange theory point out that there are two kinds of behavior patterns: opportunism and trust between participants from different perspectives. In the process of project construction, the behavior pattern of each participant and the cooperation mode formed on this basis will directly affect the success of the project. Therefore, the further study of opportunism and trust behavior in engineering projects is the key to improve the efficiency of the project and ensure the success of the project. From the point of view of current research, although from the perspective of transaction cost theory and relationship exchange theory, we have done a lot of research on the two basic behavior patterns of opportunism and trust. However, these studies focus on the separation of opportunism and trust, and less on their combined effects on trading. Based on transaction cost theory and relational exchange theory, this study analyzes the influence of opportunism and trust on the success of engineering projects under the background of environmental uncertainty and complexity, and makes an empirical study using structural equation model. The results show that environmental uncertainty has a significant positive effect on opportunism and a significant negative impact on trust, but complexity has no significant negative impact on opportunism and trust. 2) there is a significant negative impact between opportunism and trust. Trust has a significant positive impact on project success (project performance and relationship satisfaction), opportunism has a significant negative impact on relationship satisfaction. And the relationship satisfaction also has the indirect negative influence on the project performance. (3) the project cooperation term positively adjusts the trust to the project success positive influence. The research shows that restraining opportunism and enhancing trust, especially the improvement of trust, is of great significance to the success of the project, which has good enlightenment for improving the efficiency of the engineering construction project.
