口译项目经理实习报告—口译项目管理的流程

作者利用课余时间在广州博朗翻译服务有限公司实习,协助公司项目经理在口译项目方面的工作,主要职责包括搜集整理项目背景信息,联系译员,后期总结及其他相关工作。通过该实习,作者更加了解口译项目管理流程,译员选择标准,质量控制方法,常见突发情况及其规避办法,对翻译市场也有了更为深刻的认识,更加明确了一名口译项目管理人员的职责所在,从而了解到自身的不足。由于所参与的口译项目规模较小,作者不得不选用两次口译项目,即项目A-第二届中国亚太物流高峰论坛和项目B-美国马里兰中国办事处华南行,来阐释口译项目管理的过程。根据《翻译项目管理实务》,口译项目可分为项目启动,计划,执行和收尾四个阶段。为更好阐释每一个阶段的具体内容,作者截取项目A或项目B进行案例分析。具体而言,启动阶段最主要的可行性分析是以项目B为例;计划阶段的分工及进度制定均采用项目A分析,该阶段涉及到的资源及工具则使用项目B分析;执行阶段兼用A和B两个项目展示译前准备,译员现场表现以及突发事件处理;收尾阶段作者选用项目A解释如何结束一个具体的项目,而项目评估则是在项目B的基础上进行。即便如此,口译项目管理中的一些步骤和概念,例如工作分解结构和...
