跨文化交际视角下的中职英语教材文化内容分析

  高等教育出版社于2009年颁布的最新一版的《中等职业学校英语教学大纲》(以下简称新《大纲》)中规定英语课程的任务之一就是培养学生的文化意识,提高学生的文化素养。新《大纲》指出课程要指导学生了解中西方文化差异,能在不同的生活和工作情境中使用英语进行有效交流。由此可见,跨文化交际能力的培养与课程总目标直接相关,跨文化教学越来越受到重视。但是,我国职业教育长期处于一个“起步较晚、发展较缓”局面,中等职业教育水平整体低于普通教育水平,中职英语教学仍然存在着种种问题。而英语教材作为英语教学的主要依据和教学内容的主要载体,是广大英语教师在教学实践中最关心的问题,是教学质量得到统一的保障。并且教材中的输入材料作为我国职业高中学生英语学习的主要文化输入来源是否具备可理解性、趣味性、全面性,对学生的跨文化交际具有一定的影响。本文结合教材评价和文化教学的相关理论,从文化类型和文化区域两个角度切入分析高教版中职《英语》(基础模块1-3)教材中的听力和阅读输入材料,客观评价高教版教材文化内容的编写特点。随后把教材使用者(教师和学生)对该套教材的反馈分别进行分析,最后对教材修订与教材使用者在文化教学中如何有效使...
