虚拟化交换机的虚拟资源管理与优化技术研究

【摘要】:基于TCP/IP体系结构的现行互联网络,在灵活性、可扩展性和可管理性方面,表现出难以融入新技术和新业务的趋势,呈现一种结构僵化的特征。为了支持未来网络创新,解决现行网络存在的弊端,迫切地需要真实的网络环境来测试验证未来网络体系架构和协议,研究者提出了网络虚拟化的思想,并且得到未来网络领域研究的广泛关注。在网络虚拟化的研究中,虚拟资源管理是一个关键问题。 本文分析了NetFPGA的虚拟化交换机开发与实现技术,在此基础上,将XenServer虚拟化软件与NetFPGA硬件相结合,,在XenServer DDK环境中开发NetFPGA的驱动模块,并将驱动模块移植到XenServer Domain0中,构建了4×1Gb/s的多端口物理交换机。论文进一步通过桥接手段实现虚拟交换机与物理交换机的端口连接,构建了基于XenServer的虚拟化物理交换机。通过两个逻辑独立的虚拟交换机的分配和部署实验,验证了虚拟化交换机的有效性。为了使虚拟交换机提供更好的网络性能,论文设计了资源管理方案,该方案监控交换机的物理资源和虚拟交换机资源使用情况,并与集中式资源管理节点协作,完成资源的查看和监控功能。最后,针对虚拟交换机竞争占用物理交换机带宽资源的问题,通过测试验证了XenServer下通用带宽管理工具的可用性。
[Abstract]:The current Internet based on TCP/IP architecture shows the trend that it is difficult to integrate new technology and new business in flexibility, scalability and manageability, and presents a feature of rigid structure. In order to support the future network innovation and solve the drawbacks of the current network, the real network environment is urgently needed to test and verify the future network architecture and protocols. Researchers put forward the idea of network virtualization. And get the future network domain research widespread attention. Virtual resource management is a key issue in the research of network virtualization. This paper analyzes the development and implementation technology of NetFPGA virtualization switch. On this basis, combining XenServer virtualization software with NetFPGA hardware, we develop the driver module of NetFPGA in XenServer DDK environment, and transplant the driver module to XenServer Domain0. A 4 脳 1Gb/s multiport physical switch is constructed. In this paper, the port connection between virtual switch and physical switch is realized by bridging method, and a virtual physical switch based on XenServer is constructed. The effectiveness of the virtualization switch is verified by the allocation and deployment experiments of two logically independent virtual switches. In order to make the virtual switch provide better network performance, this paper designs a resource management scheme, which monitors the use of physical resources and virtual switch resources of the switch, and collaborates with the centralized resource management node. Complete resource viewing and monitoring functions. Finally, aiming at the problem of virtual switch competing to occupy the physical switch bandwidth resources, the availability of the universal bandwidth management tool under XenServer is verified by testing.
