胡适新诗叙事性研究

【摘要】:白居易在《与元九书》中说:“文章合为时而著,歌诗合为事而作。”尽管诗歌主要功能是抒情,但是在古往今来的诗歌作品中我们也发现了一条隐秘的线索即叙事与诗歌存在着十分密切的联系。叙事性作为新诗的一种重要形态,长久以来都被以借景抒情、言志等主流风格的文学活动所遮蔽,直至20世纪40年代对于叙事诗的研究及20世纪90年代对于叙事性话语和戏剧化文法的提出才有批评家及相关文章对此开始展开了新的研究。然而,对于五四时期的白话新诗尤其是对胡适新诗叙事性这一话题未见有详细地研究。可以说,自从唐诗建立起以抒情为主调的美学范畴以来,叙事这一支流就一直处于弱势的地位,直至宋代诗歌中所体现的叙事性才日益突出,到晚清及至五四时期仍然沿用宋诗这一叙事脉络。因此,研究胡适新诗的叙事性可以弥补现有研究视角的欠缺,有利于充分认识胡适诗歌的特点并通过叙事性线索发展的过程,从而还原一条似断而未断的新诗发展的流脉和渊源。本文试图以胡适新诗的代表性文本为支撑点,在“中西古今”比较分析的框架中对胡适新诗叙事性展开研究,具体从以下三个方面着手:第一、胡适新诗叙事性存在的语境分析。主要从胡适当时所处时代的主流话语和在思想上表现的写实追求以及胡适个人启蒙思想的出现论述胡适新诗叙事性的发生背景及其成因。胡适在1917年1月发表的《文学改良刍议》中就初步阐明了新文学的要求与推行白话语体文的立场。胡适个人接受西方自由主义思想的影响,面对晚清以后中国国内的现状,因此胡适运用文学进化论的观念,提出白话文取代文言文并坚信文学革命体现了历史趋势,“白话文学”理论和“历史的文学观念”理论形成了一种相互论证的关系,这也是胡适提出的颇有影响力的两大理论,而这两大理论自然也就共同构建了胡适文学思想的基本架构。第二、胡适新诗中叙事性因素的表现。首先从胡适诗歌文本、诗题、诗序、自注的叙事表现入手并在叙事性结构中把胡适新诗分为连缀型叙事、日记式叙事、事态型叙事三种类型;诗歌是一种语言的艺术,因此在叙事性策略中有独语体、主客体等多种对话形式。此外,在胡适新诗的语言中有不避俗字俗语,所以经常用日常化的口语入诗。还有就是胡适在《尝试集序》中就提到过让鲁迅、周作人、任叔永、陈沙菲、俞平伯等人为其删诗,并说虽然细微的很,但也有深入探究之可能。第三、诗歌的创作是以抒情为主要目的,而叙事是是进行抒情的表达方式之一,二者相互补充、互为影响。在董乃斌的《中国文学叙事研究》一书中对于古代诗歌进行详细的梳理提出叙事传统与抒情传统并存的诗学想象,并对古典诗词从诗事关系、隐含作者以及对李商隐诗歌的叙事分析展示了作者独特的观点与见解。因此,想要探究胡适新诗的叙事性就需要一定的参照标准,那就是抒情与叙事二者的互渗。通过上述三个方面详细地分析和论证,最后本文得出胡适新诗叙事性并不是偶然得之,这一现象的出现是诗歌发展的必然归趋。同时文章也以理性的视角对胡适新诗叙事性特点加以总结,并从胡适自身探寻同时代诗人的风格,让读者从每个独特的叙事性角度中都能够领略诗人在创作诗歌时的体验和感受,进而希望通过本文的阐述能够在一定程度上实现胡适诗歌叙事性主旨话语的表达。

As a kind of narrative an important form of modern poetry, has long been the lyric by King, covered by the mainstream style of expressing literary activities, and on 1990s until 1940s for the narrative poems and articles in this regard have critics began a new study for the narrative and dramatic grammar. However, for the 54 time in the vernacular poetry especially a detailed study on the topic of Hu Shi poetry. No narrative can be said that since the Tang Dynasty established by the lyric aesthetics theme, this is a tributary of the narrative Straight in a vulnerable position, narrative embodied until the poetry of the Song Dynasty to the late Qing Dynasty and it has become increasingly prominent, the 54 period still use this song narrative context. Therefore, the lack of narrative study of Hu Shi poetry can make up the existing research perspective, to fully understand the characteristics of Hu Shi's poetry and narrative clues through process development thus, a reduction of flow vein and origin but did not like the development of new poetry. This paper attempts to represent Hu Shi's new poetry text as the support, in the framework of the "comparative analysis of ancient and modern Chinese and Western" in the Hu Shi poetry narrative of research, specifically from the following three aspects: first, analysis of the existence of Hu Shi the new narrative context. Hu Shi appeared mainly from the mainstream discourse of the times and the performance in the thought and realistic pursuit of Hu Shi personal enlightenment narrative of poetry on Hu Shi The background and origin of literary criticism. Second Hu Shi, narrative elements of poetry performance. First, from Hu Shi's poetry, poems, poem prefaces, self narrative note of Hu Shi and his poetry in narrative structure For the "narrative, diary narration, narrative situation of three types; poetry is an art of language, so there is a monologue in the narrative strategy, the subject and the object and other form of dialogue. Third, poetry is lyrical and narrative as the main purpose, is one of the the expression of the lyric, the two complement each other, mutual influence. Therefore, the narrative to explore Hu Shi's new poetry requires a certain degree of reference standard, that is the mutual infiltration of lyric and narrative of the two. Through the above three aspects detailed analysis and demonstration, finally Hu Shi poetry and narrative it is not accidental, this phenomenon is an inevitable trend to the development of poetry. At the same time the article also in a rational view of Hu Shi poetry narrative characteristics were summarized, and explore the contemporary poets from Hu Shi's own style, let the reader can appreciate the poet in the poetry creation experience and feelings from the narrative perspective each unique, and hope that through this paper can realize the expression of Hu Shi's poetry theme narrative discourse in a certain extent.
