基于跨文化能力培养的《商务英语综合教程》评估

  如今,不同文化群体的沟通交流愈加频繁,跨文化能力已成为促成跨文化交流活动成功的核心因素之一。外语语言教学课堂是跨文化能力培养的重要场所之一,英语语言教材也成为了培养跨文化能力的重要媒介。跨文化能力对未来从事跨文化商务活动的人才来说尤为重要,而商务英语专业的目标就是培养既具备优秀的语言技能又具备对本国和异国文化有较全面了解的有效跨文化沟通者。因此,商务英语专业的语言教材也应该担负起一定的跨文化知识传递和跨文化能力培养的任务。为此,本研究选取商务英语综合教程这套教材作为研究和评估目标。此套教材在全国范围内使用广泛,并且被作为广东外语外贸大学商务英语专业第一和第二学年必修课的主教材。使用这套教材的《综合商务英语》课程的教学时数在教学计划中占比非常重,在培养学生跨文化能力方面也扮演着重大角色,而教材前言部分也声明了教材的目标之一是提升学生的文化知识储备以促进学生未来国际商务活动的成功。综合上述动因,本研究旨在研究《商务英语综合教程》这套教材是如何培养学生跨文化能力的以及有哪些建议可以帮助修订这套教材。为实现本文的研究目的,本研究采用了Byram对语言教学中跨文化能力评估的理论和程晓堂对教材的内...
