【摘要】：弧弹性是经济分析的一个常用工具,不少文献对弧弹性有一些模糊甚至是错误表达。弧弹性的几何意义是两点间弧弹性等于其线段中点的点弹性,并在此基础上给出需求弧弹性和供给弧弹性的简单判定,同时更正了若干理解性的错误:弧弹性的大小与该弧在曲线的位置有关;线性需求曲线的弧弹性与销售收入的关系比点弹性复杂,不可因为弧弹性大于1或小于1就片面决策,还要考虑弧的端点与线性曲线中点的位置关系。将弧弹性转化为点弹性,为判别供求曲线弧弹性提供了一种简便方法。
[Abstract]:Arc elasticity is a common tool in economic analysis. Many literatures have some fuzzy or even wrong expressions about arc elasticity. The geometric meaning of arc elasticity is that the arc elasticity between two points is equal to the point elasticity at the midpoint of its line segment. On this basis, a simple judgment of demand arc elasticity and supply arc elasticity is given. At the same time, some understanding errors are corrected: the size of arc elasticity is related to the position of the arc in the curve; The relationship between arc elasticity of linear demand curve and sales income is more complex than that of point elasticity. Considering the position relation between the end point of arc and the midpoint of linear curve, the arc elasticity is transformed into point elasticity, which provides a simple method for judging arc elasticity of supply and demand curve.
