契约内在机制剖析和最优设计——2016年诺贝尔经济学奖述评

【摘要】：2016年诺贝尔经济学奖授予Hart和Holmstrom,以表彰他们在契约理论研究中做出的突出贡献。Hart拓展了不完全契约理论和产权模型,突出了产权结构对契约制度安排的重要性。Holmstrom改进了委托—代理模型,提出信息原则,并将道德风险模型拓展到多维度。除契约理论外,Hart在产权理论、公司财务和不完全竞争市场等领域,Holmstrom在激励理论、金融流动性和金融规制等领域也做出了重要贡献。他们的研究有助于辨识契约的内在机制,并为政策和制度的设计提供了理论基础。
[Abstract]:The 2016 Nobel Prize in Economics was awarded to Hart and Holmstrom for their outstanding contributions to the research of contract theory. Hart expanded the incomplete contract theory and property rights model. Holmstrom improved the principal-agent model, put forward the information principle, and extended the moral hazard model to multi-dimension. In addition to contract theory, Holmstrom has also made important contributions in the fields of property right theory, corporate finance and imperfect competitive market, as well as in incentive theory, financial liquidity and financial regulation. Their research helps to identify the internal mechanism of contract and provides a theoretical basis for the design of policies and institutions.
