伯克新修辞学视角下的英语经济类公共演讲语篇分析

　　作为演讲语篇中的一个重要门类,英语经济类公众演讲是以劝说和同一为话语动机。英语演讲者是如何通过修辞策略使听众跨越分歧,并与其达成同一的?中国读者如何更准确地理解英语国家演讲者的隐含动机?针对此问题,本文以肯尼斯伯克的新修辞学理论为基础,以15篇美国商务部官员的经济类公众演讲语篇为分析对象,分析了英语经济演讲语篇的修辞过程和动机,发现了修辞策略的分布和使用频率的规律,提出了一个分析英语经济类公众演讲语篇的分析模式,旨在揭示经济类演讲语篇的修辞过程及隐藏在语篇中的修辞动机,以帮助中国读者更好的理解演讲者的隐含动机。通过对15篇语料的具体分析,本文得出以下结论：第一,英语经济类演讲普遍具有以下动机：传递经济信息；取得同一；诱发合作。第二,英语经济类演讲语篇中的隐含动机可以通过修辞过程体现。作者认为修辞过程是一个语言行为,功能行为和社会行为共同作用的结果。作者以此为基础提出的英语经济类演讲语篇分析模式被证明是有效且可行的,可以帮助中国读者更好地理解英文为本族语者的隐含动机。第三,通过同一分析发现,在内容同一策略中,“同情同一”和“误同”策略在英语经济类演讲中运用得更频繁一些。但在全球经济危机时...
