马里棉花在国际市场出口贸易竞争力研究

[Abstract]:The cotton grown in Mali is an important economic resource for the country. It also generates income for different numbers of families. The main purpose of this study is to investigate the performance of MCE in the international trade market during the period 2000-2013. Quantitative analysis of competitive position and simple linear regression are used to measure the actual and estimated quantity and price. Gravity models are used to measure the economy as a whole. International market research on MCE competitiveness shows that Malian cotton exports accounted for 1.7 percent and 2.9 percent of total exports in 2013 and 2000 respectively, with an average growth rate of -41.38. It has been reported that Mali's cotton exports were the largest in 2001, accounting for 3.4% of the world cotton exports. MCE's competition in the world market was not dependent on price, production or quality, but was due to fluctuations in trade policies in the international market. The results show that Mali imports less cotton than its competitors among the major importing countries. Linear regression analysis shows that there is a negative correlation but a significant correlation between the ratio of cotton price change and the volume of trade in Mali's exports to the United States. As the proportion rose (1%), Mali's cotton exports fell by nearly 14220 tonnes. Regression results also show that the positive correlation and significant impact of Mali's export prices. Last year, as a result of rising prices, the country gained the status of a major producer in West Africa. Competitive analysis also showed an increase in MCE capabilities in the French, Spanish, Chinese, Indian, German and Portuguese markets. The study proved that Mali's cotton difficulties were added to the Belgian market.
