【摘要】：Sino-Cambodia had a long historic and economic relation since the ancient time,approximately two thousand years.The modern time relations have started from 1958 between the two leaders,King Norodom Sihanouk of Cambodia and Chairman Mao Zedong of China.The relations have been transferred from generations to generations of both countries.Interestingly,these good relations led to the bilateral agreements,political trust,and economic partnership.Continuously,Chinese President Xi Jinping launched the Belt and Road Initiative in September 2013.The Chinese's BRI policy aimed to stimulate the economic grow in China as well as enhance integration between countries connected to the initiative.This research intended to study about the"Opportunities and Challenges of Cambodia in the Belt and Road Initiative".The calculated forecast in this study indicates on scaling up of international trade and building physical infrastructure throughout Cambodia in the coming year.Therefore,in order to prove that the Belt and Road policy positively impacts on Cambodian,there are several variables were conducted.Regarding to the result of this study,railways framework,Special Economic Zone,international airport,hydropower,and hydroelectric power station are merit of Cambodia.In sum,the Belt and Road Initiative is in the good progress and move up that base on the benefit to Cambodia.This new initiative of the Chinese government is relevant and timely policy for the development of Cambodia,especially in the context of physical infrastructure development which is key challenge to facilitate transportation in country link to ASEAN region in terms of economic diversification under the BRI policy.
