基于语料库的航海英语关键词搭配研究

【摘要】：航运产业国际化发展对于船员的英语使用能力也有了更高的要求,海员航海英语教育也更加得到重视。本研究主要以航海英语作为研究对象,自建成新航海英语语料库(NNEC),其中包括进港指南,航路指南,船员手册,航海专业课程教材等航海英语相关语料,以BROWN和LOB语料库作为参照语料库,以语料库语言学作为理论基础,以AntConc 3.2.1和WordSmith等语料库软件为研究工具,通过与参照语料库的对比分析,得到NNEC的关键词词表。本研究旨在检验以下问题:一、航海英语关键词特点是什么?二、根据词性及关键性对关键词进行分类后,各分组特点分别如何?三、将所选关键词在NNEC及参照语料库中的用法作比较,其关键词的搭配有什么异同?本文采用定量与定性分析相结合的方法对航海英语的关键词进行了分析。本论文得出以下结论:一、与普通英语相比,航海英语中关键词多与航行、船舶等相关,且名词所占比例较大;二、自建航海英语语料库与参照语料库相对比发现,共享关键词多为功能词,而航海英语特有关键词多为动词及名词,且多为航海相关专业词汇;三、通过对所选关键词的搭配研究发现,航海英语关键词搭配在航海英语语料库及参照语料库中有差异,在航海英语语料库中,实义词搭配更为固定,同时与功能词搭配也十分常见。本研究欲在航海词汇方面对航海英语学习者及使用者提供帮助。
[Abstract]:The international development of shipping industry also has higher requirements for the crew's English use ability, and seafarers' English education has also been paid more attention to. This research mainly takes nautical English as the research object, and builds a new nautical English Corpus (NNEC), which includes the port guide, the navigation route guide, the crew manual, the navigation specialty course material and so on. Taking BROWN and lob Corpus as reference corpus, Corpus Linguistics as theoretical basis, and AntConc 3.2.1 and WordSmith as research tools, the key word list of NNEC is obtained through comparative analysis with reference corpus. The purpose of this study is to examine the following questions: 1. What are the characteristics of nautical English keywords? Second, after classifying the key words according to the part of speech and the key words, what are the characteristics of each group? Third, compare the usage of the selected keywords in NNEC and reference corpus, what are the similarities and differences in the collocation of the keywords? This paper analyzes the key words of nautical English by combining quantitative and qualitative analysis. The main conclusions of this thesis are as follows: first, compared with general English, the key words in nautical English are related to navigation, ship and so on, and the proportion of nouns is relatively large. Shared keywords are mostly functional words, while nautical English specific keywords are mostly verbs and nouns, and most of them are navigation-related professional words. The collocation of nautical English keywords is different in nautical English Corpus and reference Corpus. In nautical English Corpus, the collocation of literal words is more fixed, and it is also very common to collocate functional words. The purpose of this study is to help learners and users of nautical English in terms of nautical vocabulary.
