【摘要】:脉冲掺铒光纤激光器因其在光通信、材料加工、测量学、光纤传感等领域的广泛应用而备受关注。调Q和锁模是实现激光器脉冲输出的两种行之有效的方法。新兴的可饱和吸收体—石墨烯,具有超快恢复时间、高损伤阈值、较大调制深度、较宽吸收带宽及价格低廉等诸多优点。本文利用实验研究的方法,对石墨烯脉冲掺铒光纤激光器的动力学特性进行深入研究,具体研究内容和结果如下:1.从介绍铒离子的能级结构及其光谱吸收特性出发,分别阐述了调Q和锁模脉冲掺铒光纤激光器的工作原理。2.在基于石墨烯掺铒光纤激光器中,实验研究了矢量孤子的多个动力学模式。观察到了基孤子、孤子束、松或紧的孤子束缚态及孤子的高阶谐波锁模。通过仔细调节泵浦功率及谐振腔内偏振控制器的状态,实验同时得到了上述各种模式的偏振锁定和偏振旋转状态,实现了两种状态之间的相互转换,激光器的信噪比为51d B。到目前为止,还没有关于基于石墨烯饱和吸收体的矢量孤子束缚态及高重复频率矢量孤子谐波锁模的研究报道。3.实验研究了全光纤、波长可调、基于石墨烯饱和吸收体的调Q掺铒光纤激光器。利用含可变光延迟线、臂长不等的马赫—曾德尔干涉仪作为光束滤波器,实现了工作波长精确可调,波长可调范围为35 nm。实验同时研究了调Q激光光脉冲的脉冲宽度和脉冲能量的特性,得到了最大能量为36.9 n J的高能量光脉冲。
[Abstract]:Pulsed erbium-doped fiber lasers are used in optical communication, material processing, and measurement. Q-switching and mode-locking are two effective methods to realize laser pulse output. Graphene, a new saturable absorber, has super fast recovery time. With the advantages of high damage threshold, large modulation depth, wide absorption bandwidth and low cost, the dynamic characteristics of graphene pulse erbium-doped fiber laser are studied in this paper. The specific contents and results are as follows: 1. The energy level structure and spectral absorption characteristics of erbium ions are introduced. The principle of Q-switched and mode-locked pulse erbium-doped fiber laser is described. In the graphene doped erbium-doped fiber laser, several dynamic modes of vector soliton are experimentally studied and the base soliton is observed. Soliton beams, loose or compact soliton bound states and higher-order harmonic mode-locking of solitons. The pump power and the state of the polarization controller in the resonator are carefully adjusted. At the same time, the polarization locking and polarization rotation states of the above modes are obtained, and the conversion between the two states is realized. The SNR of the laser is 51 dB. So far. There is no report on vector soliton bound state and high repetition frequency vector soliton harmonic mode-locking based on graphene saturated absorber. Q-switched erbium-doped fiber laser based on graphene saturated absorber. Using Mach Zehnder interferometer with variable optical delay line and different arm length as beam filter, the operating wavelength can be accurately adjusted. The wavelength adjustable range is 35 nm. The characteristics of pulse width and pulse energy of Q-switched laser pulses are also studied. A high energy optical pulse with the maximum energy of 36.9 nJ is obtained.
