中红外光学参量振荡技术研究

【摘要】:中红外激光在科研、军事以及民用领域都有着极其重要的应用价值和发展前景。光学参量振荡器是获得中红外波段激光最为有效的手段之一,设计实现高质量的光学参量振荡器对未来社会发展起着重要的作用。本文在理论分析的基础上对基于PPMgOLN的中红外光学参量振荡技术进行了研究。理论方面,分析了光学参量振荡技术的各类特性,针对光学参量振荡技术的基本原理进行了简介,着重介绍了相位匹配技术。针对光学参量振荡技术的部分理论特性进行了推导和分析,并对增益、阈值和转换效率的部分理论模型进行了计算。实验方面,首先针对中红外光学参量振荡器的泵浦源部分进行了实验研究。设计实现了一款新型的混合放大激光光源,利用光纤放大器和固体介质放大器相结合的方法,对连续种子光源进行放大,最终实现高质量激光输出。系统最大输出功率为31.9W,,输出波长1064nm,光束质量因子M2控制在1.5以下。实验结果验证了混合放大方式是获得功率放大的一种有效手段,并为后续中红外光学参量振荡技术的研究提供了优质的泵浦光源。随后,对基于准相位匹配的外腔单谐振PPMgOLN OPO进行了研究。通过对PPMgOLN晶体的周期调谐和温度调谐特性的实验研究,验证了利用PPMgOLN实现2.9μm中红外激光输出的可行性,确定了波长调谐方式为温度调谐。然后通过对比实验,分析了不同输出镜反射率、曲率半径以及不同腔长情况下光学参量振荡器的输出性能。最终通过谐振腔的优化设计,在31.9W泵浦功率情况下,实现了输出功率5.2W的2.9μm光学参量振荡器。
[Abstract]:Mid-infrared laser has very important application value and development prospect in scientific research, military and civilian fields.Optical parametric oscillator (OPO) is one of the most effective methods to obtain mid-infrared laser. The design and realization of high quality optical parametric oscillator (OCO) plays an important role in the future development of society.In this paper, based on the theoretical analysis, the mid-infrared optical parametric oscillation technology based on PPMgOLN is studied.In theory, the characteristics of optical parametric oscillation are analyzed, the basic principle of optical parametric oscillation is introduced, and the phase matching technique is introduced emphatically.Some theoretical characteristics of optical parametric oscillation are deduced and analyzed, and some theoretical models of gain, threshold and conversion efficiency are calculated.Firstly, the pump source of the mid-infrared optical parametric oscillator is studied experimentally.A new hybrid amplifier laser source is designed and realized. The continuous seed light source is amplified by the combination of fiber amplifier and solid medium amplifier, and the high quality laser output is realized.The maximum output power of the system is 31.9WN, the output wavelength is 1064nm, and the beam quality factor M2 is controlled below 1.5.The experimental results show that the hybrid amplification method is an effective means to obtain power amplification and provide a high quality pump light source for the further study of the mid-infrared optical parametric oscillation technology.Then, the quasi-phase-matched external cavity single resonance PPMgOLN OPO is studied.Through the experimental study of the periodic tuning and temperature tuning of PPMgOLN crystal, the feasibility of using PPMgOLN to realize the output of 2. 9 渭 m medium infrared laser is verified, and the wavelength tuning mode is determined as temperature tuning.Then, the output performance of the optical parametric oscillator with different reflectivity, radius of curvature and cavity length is analyzed by contrast experiments.Finally, through the optimization design of the resonator, 2.9 渭 m optical parametric oscillator with output power of 5.2 W is realized under the condition of 31.9W pump power.
