基于滤波器组的UMTS窄带多载波聚合技术研究

【摘要】:UMTS系统作为3G标准之一从诞生开始就表现出了极强的生命力,持续向UMTS Advanced、UMTS Beyond演进,现已成为国际主流3G标准,它相比4G LTE系统,主要在系统带宽和数据速率上存在劣势,但在语音业务、峰均比和系统覆盖上甚至优于后者。为了保持UMTS演进系统的持续竞争力,3GPP-LTE国际标准化组织针对2G时代迁移过来的零散频谱,近期启动了S-UMTS的研究项目。在频谱聚合条件下,无线通信系统采用的多址技术必须能灵活支持非连续占用的频谱资源分配,提高频谱利用率,同时有需要保持较好的抗干扰能力。而采用滤波多音调制技术(FMT)实现窄带UMTS信号的聚合传输成为3GPP中的候选方案之一,FMT系统通过采用频谱不重叠且加入部分保护带的方法,可以有效地克服频率复用带来的频偏敏感性问题,另外,FMT系统也可以像OFDM系统一样可以采用快速傅里叶变换(FFT)大大降低系统实现的复杂度。本文根据UMTS系统和FMT系统各自的传输特点,提出了一种基于滤波器组传输的窄带CDMA多载波系统方案,我们将其称之为CDMA-FMT系统,它很好地将UMTS系统和FMT系统的优点结合在了一起,不仅保留了良好的抗干扰性能,还提升了UMTS系统的频谱利用率,代表了未来宽带无线通信系统多载波传输技术的重要发展方向,理论分析和仿真结果均表明,该系统实现复杂度不高,且其性能介于传统的UMTS系统和4G LTE系统之间,是3G UMTS系统演进的方向之一。
[Abstract]:UMTS system, as one of the 3G standards, has shown great vitality from the beginning of its birth. It continues to evolve to UMTS Advanced and UMTS Beyond. It has now become the mainstream of international 3G standard. Compared with 4G LTE system, there are disadvantages in system bandwidth and data rate, but in voice industry, peak to average ratio and system coverage are even better than the latter. In order to maintain the continuous competitiveness of the UMTS evolution system, the 3GPP-LTE international standardization organization has recently launched the research project of S-UMTS for the scattered spectrum migrated from the 2G era. Under the spectrum aggregation condition, the multiple access technology used in the wireless communication system must be able to support the discontinuous allocation of the spectrum resources and improve the spectrum utilization. It is necessary to maintain better anti-interference ability, and the filter multitone modulation (FMT) technology is one of the candidates in 3GPP, and the FMT system can effectively overcome the frequency bias sensitivity of frequency reuse by using the method of non overlapping spectrum and part protection band. In addition, the FMT system is a FMT system. The system can also reduce the complexity of the system by fast Fourier transform (FFT) like the OFDM system. Based on the respective transmission characteristics of the UMTS system and the FMT system, a narrowband CDMA multicarrier system scheme based on the filter group transmission is proposed. We call it the CDMA-FMT system, which is good for the UMTS system. Combined with the advantages of FMT system, it not only preserves the good anti-interference performance, but also improves the spectrum utilization of the UMTS system. It represents the important development direction of the multi carrier transmission technology in the future broadband wireless communication system. Both theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the system has a low complexity and its performance is in the traditional U. MTS system and 4G LTE system are one of the directions of 3G UMTS system evolution.
